My first FluentCart website!

Hey Community, just wanted to share with you, my first FluentCart Website, built with Bricks Builder. I've managed to build complete Custom Product pages, It's been an amazing experience.

Take a look: https://madeiramaps.com

Let me know what you think!

My first FluentCart website!

It reads β€œ502 Bad Gateway - NGinx” πŸ‘†πŸ»

Jorge de los ReyesΒ Yep, still doing some performance improvements, I made the mistake of sharing it in 3 different groups at the same time!

JoΓ£o VieiraΒ I managed to visit in the end. Great job!

I’ll avoid all the hover effects, and will set checkout with white background for clarity.

But that aside (nothing an A/B test couldn’t fix! :)) , you really did an amazing job!

Congrats!

I wish you a great success!

JoΓ£o Vieira

Jorge de los ReyesΒ Thank you, appreciate all the feedback!

Sander W.

Very nice!

JoΓ£o Vieira

Sander W.Β Thank you!

Looks great :-)

How exactly did you build the product pages? It looks like they’re landing pages with buy now and add to cart shortcodes.

Or did you really build them using Fluent's product editor?

So, I assume you went about it like this:

  • A standard landing page, containing a 4-column layout for the 4 products. Inside the columns, you used individual button links/shortcodes to add the products to the cart or start checkout directly.
  • If clicking on the card (instead of one of the buttons): It leads to another standard landing page for the specific product with basically the same two buttons.
  • In Fluent, you probably just set up the products to link them correctly and handle the purchase process.

Is that correct?

Marc MeeseΒ He's using Bricks, which includes basic FluentCart component

JoΓ£o Vieira

Hey Marc Meese, thank you, exactly whatΒ winchell321Β said. Bricks have basic FluentCart components. I used the add to cart buttons component, but for the product page, I've build a Bricks template for all products and used Bricks dynamic data features to get all the products data. Some custom fields as well added to the products CPT using ACF.

winchell321

Wow, this design is definitely worth learning from, though the "add to cart" response time doesn't seem as fast as I expected?

JoΓ£o Vieira

winchell321Β Thank you, still doing some performance improvements.

Very cool man! You did a good job with the styling.

If you want help with setting up hosting, let me know I'll make sure you have something blazing fast.

Was it a pain in the butt removing all the styling? The mouse hover card effect looks sweet!!

Are you gonna build your next site with FluentCart?

JoΓ£o Vieira

Deckard CainΒ Thank you. Appreciate the feedback. If I will build my next store with FluentCart. Probably, I would only go back to WooCommerce if the client has some need that FluentCart still doesn't support.

I think. I just want to switch from Elementor to Bricks 😬. After i saw your design using Bricks! πŸ”₯

JoΓ£o Vieira

Zahidul FitriΒ Yeah, Bricks is a beast! So much better builder than Elementor. Elementor is more well known for just being one of the first Builders, but that also comes with a lot of technical debt! Thank you for your kind words.

Nicolas D

Nice site, but not a fan of dark mode, hard for the eyes, you should do a default light mode (and allow people to switch to dark mode if they want)

JoΓ£o Vieira

Nicolas DΒ Thank you, that's a good suggestion. Maybe we implement it in the future.

Tobi Akiode

Very beautiful website, actually. Well done, JoΓ£o VieiraΒ

JoΓ£o Vieira

Tobi AkiodeΒ Thank you Tobi. Appreciate it. It was fun building this project.

This is a beautiful showcase of the possibilities that exist with FluentCart. I'm working on a client site built with Elementor, and am looking to similarly customize several of the default pages. Thanks for the inspiration!

JoΓ£o Vieira

Lovell HerbertΒ Thank you. Appreciate the kind words. Good luck for your project.

How to make like this.. custom product list.. and add to cart and buy button seperate like this.. HOW😬

Has anyone using Kadence achieved the same look? When editing the Long Description in the Builder, I get access to lots of commerce-related (a few Fluent-explicit) blocks, but how do you replace the entire product page and not just the Long Description?
