Membership Light Option
I am planning to sell digital products via FluentCart. These special products are basically blog posts. Users can either subscribe to all (subscription based, and already working), but not for single products (posts). Is there an option to sell access to single posts with FluentCart Pro and FluentCRM (non Pro!) without adding each post as a product in FluentCart?
I plan to showcase the posts and hide the premium behind a paywall. Users can then either click on "Subscribe All" or "Buy Only This" on each page. Logged-In users see the premium content directly.
This is not a licensed product but a membership light since it only affects single posts. I am struggling with the "Buy Only This" and how to add it into FluentCart. I plan to add a tag via FluentCRM and manage access via that. Anyone here who can point me in the right direction?
Hey André Daus you might want to check out WP Fusion - you can sync it with your crm tags and use that for access management.
And if you use the block editor, you can also use a plugin called Block Visibility and conditionally display content via your crm tags, which can be useful for things like showing just the start of your blog posts, and CTAs for users who haven't purchased access.

Jesse Benjamin thanks. My problem is not to restrict access, but to sell it. I cannot maintain a bunch of products in FluentCart that replicate the posts or any combination thereof. I think about adding one product "Post Access" and sell that for 10 bucks. Depending on the post it will be "Post Access for Post A" and the user gets a tag "Post A". But how do I get this done in FluentCart?
I could do that with FluentForm and payment integration. But since I already have FluentCart installed, I prefer using it for all sales.
André Daus FluentCart integrates with FluentCRM so you can run an automation on purchase or subscription activation that then adds tags to the customer.
Ross FCA the problem is to add the single post to the cart/checkout. I will try with Custom Product Selling as outlined in my other comment.
André Daus Are you trying to create a Patreon style interface where posts are locked behind certain membership tiers?

Debo Ogunrinde thank you. This is for FluentCommunity. But I have existing CPTs already that need to become a product. It does not work that way.

Thanks to FluentBot who pushed me into that direction. Once I get the information dynamically into the product, the rest tickles down the line. Will give it a try.
André Daus How do you already have access to FluentBot? Did you get invited to a beta or am I missing access somewhere inside other Fluent products?
