Looking for clarification for free vs pro gate for upgrade paths
looking at the free vs pro matrix here, it says under Marketing & Growth
- Upgrade Discount, which sounds like upgrade paths is available in free version of FluentCart, yet the source code reveals:
Create upgrade paths │ FC Core (PlanUpgradeService) │ ✅ Yes
Display in customer portal │ FC Core (CustomerProfileController) │ ✅ Yes
Process the upgrade │ FC Pro (UpgradeHandler line 21) │ ❌ No

Jeff, It seems there has been a miscommunication with the marketing team. The upgrade discount is part of the upgrade paths, and it is a pro feature. I sincerely apologise for the misinformation.
Ripon Sarkar I just needed to know the answer for my soon to be released product so I can do proper pro gating if FluentCart Pro is not detected. I would strongly advise to have both teams correct the situation.
The pro gate you have on this feature is quite sloppy, frankly. You can create upgrade paths just fine in free version, but without pro version, they fail silently. I can see in your source code that this was a project that was started and never finished. It seems you guys, like me, scaffold things out first, and then come back and build it.
Please block or remove the ability to create upgrade paths, and update your marketing copy to be more clear!
