Licensing Integration: user receives key BEFORE installments complete?
Is this the case as it currently functions? Ideally, the user should receive the key AFTER their installments are complete. Can you please verify Shahjahan Jewel ?
Yes, the user will receive the key on the first payment.
Shahjahan Jewel There should be a way to prevent this. We are using the subscriptions as installments. For example, our license is $444, but we will take 4x $111 payments. The user should only receive their key AFTER the payments are completed. :)
Kyle Darling For most of the cases, user get the license key and the license key get expired when the installments get expired. I will check with hooks and see if you can alter the default behavior.
Kyle Darling What's the use case there? It's typical to give the product alongside the first payment. Like if I financed a TV on a 6 monthly payments, I'd be annoyed I had to wait 6 months to get the TV... I'd just be as well saving the payment each month and paying it upfront.

So we are using the Licensing feature as a concert ticket feature. We do not want users to 'own' a license/ticket number until they have paid completely because we also have a feature for users to transfer their ticket to another user.
We now have an additional problem of the license expiring when the payment plan is completed.
So therefore it is only a subscription, not a payment plan.
