Introducing FluentCart MCP

This one is a big step, and honestly a fun one.

FluentCart now has a built-in eCommerce MCP server. In plain English: you can now talk to your store vai claude/codex/other AI clients. Ask a question, get an answer. Ask for an action, it gets done. No more clicking through five admin screens just to find out how this month compares to last month.

FluentCart exposes your store's data securely, and actions as tools an AI like Claude can use on your behalf, with your permissions. You ask, the AI does the clicking.

Here is what you can do with it:

• Reporting in a sentence. "Give me a sales summary for this month vs last month." You get gross, net, refunds, AOV, order count, and the percent change. No report screens.
• Support triage. "Find the order for customer@example.com"
• Restock decisions. "Which products are out of stock or running low?" Five seconds instead of digging.
• Flash promotions. "Create a 15% coupon called SPRINGSALE that expires end of month." Live before your coffee cools.
• Attribution. "Which UTM source drove the most revenue last quarter?" Used to mean exporting data and building a pivot table. Now it is one line.

It ships with 30 tools across orders, customers, products, subscriptions, coupons, reports, and licenses. The whole surface of your store, one prompt away.

A few things I want to be clear about:

• This is for you and your team, not your customers. It is a private, admin-side tool. Nothing changes on your storefront. Your customers keep shopping exactly as before.
• It is OFF by default. The server is not even running until you flip the toggle, so zero overhead for stores that do not use it.
• It is safe. Destructive actions like refunds require a preview and a confirmation step first, so no accidental money moves. The AI inherits your WordPress permissions too. If your account cannot issue refunds, neither can the AI. Revoke the application password and access dies instantly.

Setup takes about 2-3 minutes and you never leave WordPress: flip the toggle in Settings → Features & Addon, create an application password, point your AI client (Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, or any MCP client) at your store, and test with "show me all my orders." If data comes back, you are talking to your store.
