Inquiry on FluentCart's Direction and Marketing Functions

I recently noticed that there are plugins specifically designed for FluentCart, such as those for coupons and FOMO marketing tools. This observation has prompted me to inquire about the strategic direction of FluentCart.

Is FluentCart moving towards a WooCommerce-like approach, where external developers are encouraged to create payment gateways and additional functionalities, such as coupon features? Or does FluentCart have plans to natively integrate these essential marketing tools into its core offering?

Which areas the team encourages external plugins to enhance FluentCart’s functionality? While FluentCart has successfully replaced many plugins, there are still areas, such as coupon functionalities, that could benefit from further enhancement.

I would greatly appreciate it if you could share your insights on FluentCart's approach and future plans in this regard.

Thoughts and suggestions welcome.

It sounds like you are referring to my Fluently Marketing addon. :) Note that the features we have and are making are carefully considered and not something that a core store often includes. For example, you indirectly referred to the low stock meter bar and badges, or the famous Amazon-like click-to-add-coupon. These are things that the majority of their customers would not need, are not a core feature, and would most likely anger the customer base if they spent time here instead of other things, so that's why we do things like that.
