I’ve been experimenting with FluentCart for a few days and what I think about
WooCommerce has always reminded me of an old ship — even though, to be fair, it was built not that long ago, about 14 years back. It was never pretty. It was never fast. Something was always missing, and you had to keep bolting on new parts just to keep it moving. Over the years, it’s become covered in barnacles — so many that they probably weigh more than the ship itself. They slow it down, but scraping them off is almost impossible.
Its one true strength? It’s still afloat, still carrying passengers. The passengers, bless them, have gotten used to the discomfort and keep paying for their pricey tickets anyway.
Now, about FluentCart. It looks like a sleek, modern speedboat — fast, elegant, and full of potential. You can’t quite take it out for a cruise yet, but there’s hope it’ll soon be fully equipped so passengers can travel safely and comfortably. Sure, one day it might collect its own share of barnacles too… but let’s hope the captain keeps it clean and shiny for as long as possible.
So here’s to FluentCart — may it have calm seas and a happy voyage! 🚤✨
A very good metaphor! Thanks for sharing!
The only issue is the loading speed, I wouldn’t say it’s fast at all.
