How do I skip a gateway-managed subscription payment?
We had to push the service start date of a recurring event 1 mo, and I want to skip the next payment for the members of the training. I can't seem to find any answers in the docs for how that works unless the subscription is store-managed. Can anyone help point me in the direction of the right next step? I need to answer this question in the next 48 hours to make sure we miss the first renewal date that happens next week. HELP!
Hi Richard, this is a Stripe gateway-managed subscription, so Stripe controls the billing schedule. FluentCart’s Skip Next Period option is only available for store-billed subscriptions, which is why it does not appear in your menu.
To skip the upcoming payment, open the subscription in Stripe and choose Pause payment collection. Set a custom resume date after the cycle you want to skip. If that period should be free, choose Void invoices. If you want to collect the payment later, choose Keep invoices as drafts.
