Hi Fluent team πŸ‘‹

Straightforward question about FluentCart.

Do you plan (or consider) implementing a credit-based system?

Specifically:

  • users could purchase credit packs
  • then spend those credits in the store (products, services, add-ons, etc.)

From my perspective, this would unlock several strong use cases: prepaid models, loyalty, bundles, and a smoother checkout experience.

I’d appreciate your view on this:

πŸ‘‰ is this on the roadmap?
πŸ‘‰ any technical constraints identified?
πŸ‘‰ recommended alternatives today?

Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Yes, it would be a nice feature. However I'd prefer other more basic and pressing features to be implemented first.

Drive Zone

Instead of new credit system I would like to have opportunity spend FC Leaderboard points as credits as discount or earn points with purchase in shop.

AmarokSpirit

I prefer to use the affiliation for this than the shop. But indeed, it could be interesting to buy credits to then be able to buy a product when it is at a reduced price

Yes! I would love a credit system that is connected to the FluentCommunity points - but I'd also rather this all be controlled by Gamipress, since GP is already so well integrated in WP core and other plugins.

Very usefull! And many use cases, yoga studios - 1 credit per class (with FluentBooking), payout in store credit for affiliates, services - 1 credit = 30 minutes, I can keep going :-)

I would like to see it especially for the fluentbooking to be able to bundle calls but not require the person to have to decide right away all of the call times that they have to be booked at once but as they need them.

another one, special FluentCart products that can only be purchased with credits/poinst (loyalty gifts), FluentBooking: buy a 5-class 'strip' for booking a training

Gift cards would be a great addition with credits.
