FluentCart -> FluentCommunity
Consider this scenario:
- A customer purchases the course "How to Make Pancakes" in FluentCart as a one time product
- Access is automatically granted to the course in FluentCommunity.
- A month later, the same customer subscribes to the Gold Plan (1 year) in FluentCart, which includes access to several courses, including "How to Make Pancakes".
- Access is granted again in FluentCommunity, now under the subscription.
- After one year, the customer decides not to renew the Gold Plan subscription.
- FluentCart removes access to all subscription-based courses in FluentCommunity.
My question is....
in this situation, what happens to the "How to Make Pancakes" course access?
Since the customer originally purchased it as a one-time (lifetime) product before subscribing, should that access remain automatically, or does it need to be handled manually?
Rafael PitonΒ We had this conversation recently and i'm curious myself, how that'll work (when only using Cart & Comm)....
when also using FCRM you would use a tag for "How to make pancakes" so that your customer - even when the subscription ended - would have access to the course via tag
You would use FluentCRM in this instance using tags for access management. For example "Brought Pancake course" tag which will control access to the course and then you would have a "Gold Plan" tag which will control access to subscription. So this ensures that have some safe guards in place to not remove someone from a space/course when they don't need to be removed. You can use FCRM automations to help facilitate this or use Flowmattic or Bit Flows for granular automations.
