FluentCart developer Documentation
We just published the developer documentation of FluentCart. Our team is still working on it and listing all the hooks, actions, functions, and tutorials. But you will get an overall idea about the data attributes, data models, and database design concepts.
Next week, we will have complete tutorial about how you can easily build Custom Payment Methods, Custom Integrations and so on. FluentCart's API will be one of the easiest API to build custom addons or extend functionalities.
Check it out: https://dev.fluentcart.com/
Great! Is Docusaurus used here? I was just installing it today haha
Sam Jansen We are using VitePress.
Shahjahan Jewel Cool! It looks quite similar
Why the shift to something outside of WP?
James Maduk It is way faster and free
Looks like dev docs are still not showing up...
Shahjahan Jewel Ah, my bad. Thanks.
Awesome, thank you! We are soon ready to release our first addon at FluentlyWP :)
Thanks... endpoints - eta????
James Maduk most probably early next month.
Great! quick question.. In WooCommerce the hooks woocommerce_before_checkout_form or woocommerce_checkout_update_order_review are used by plugins like WPEsign to redirect users to a contract/waiver to be signed before payment. IE they insert themselves in the checkout process and then hand back off once their function is completed. Is FC exposing the same? I'd love to build this and move clients off Woo that use, this and use a self hosted or open source solution like https://www.docuseal.com
Andrew Hansen we have these hooks and will be added in the doc.
I hope for every Gutenberg block and feature, there is an equivalent shortcode because then we can use all the same features even if we're not using Gutenberg or Bricks.
For example: [fluent_cart_product_card id="2131" add_to_cart="true" coupon="affiliate20"]
I know I can build them with the documentation here: https://dev.fluentcart.com/hooks/
But I'd rather not. 😁
this is great!
Shahjahan Jewel is this where I would find how to add Fluent Support into the customer account side bar like you have? Or has that not been documented yet?
Is there somewhere where we can see the direct comparison between the free and paid versions? Thanks!
Congratulations!
