FluentCart: Current Dev Status

I know you are so excited about FluentCart, and we really appreciate it. Before we go live, we are making sure it's a complete package. We could have launched last month when we migrated our store to FluentCart, and in fact, a few of our beta testers are already running their shop with FluentCart.

But, there are a few modules that need to be improved or implemented before we go live.

Things we are working on:

  • Tax module: This is a critical module that I want to ship in the very first public version. Our group member Jorge de los ReyesΒ is helping us.
  • Reporting: We are rewriting the reporting module because it misses some key data points that every business needs to understand their shop.
  • Gutenberg Blocks: We are rewriting the gutenberg blocks as well as once, it's live, I don't want to break it! That's why we are making it future-proof. Our team is also exploring to support major page builders.
  • Changes in some core architecture: We received numerous support tickets from developers who want to build add-ons. We are ensuring it's ready for them and can be easily extended.

What's the expected date?

As per our current dev backlog, we are pretty confident that we can release it publicly within the next 2 weeks.

We want to make it right instead of releasing early.
