FluentCart & Crypto Payments
Who of you would like to see a FluentCart add-on for crypto-payments? I've been using a plugin while I was still on my old site, running WooCommerce. Since switching to FluentCart I couldn't receive payments in crypto anymore though, so I'm wondering who else would be interested in such an add-on.
Was thinking about this the other day. With how and where things are going I think having a good crypto payment method certainly would be nice.

From an EU tax/accounting perspective, I’d love to see this properly implemented.
FluentCart should ideally record the exact value of the crypto in the transaction currency (EUR, USD, etc.) at the time of payment, together with the exchange rate/source used, so the invoice, VAT and accounting records remain properly denominated and documented.
Refunds would also need some thought… If someone pays €100 worth of, let’s say, BTC, and BTC moves 20% before the refund, are you refunding the original amount of BTC or €100 worth of BTC at the refund date?
So +1 from me (especially if those details are considered rather than crypto being treated simply as another “currency”). 😄
Also, btw, I’ll explore how this could be better supported in FluentCart. You can already accept stablecoin payments through Stripe, but I don’t think FluentCart currently provides the reporting/accounting detail needed to properly reflect these transactions:
