🎉 FluentCart 1.5.2 - More Ways to Get Paid, More Ways to Build
If you build in Elementor, you can now design your entire storefront visually, no theme templates or custom work required.
Here is what is new in 1.5.2:
- A full Elementor widget library. Full checkout, cart and mini cart, Buy Now, shop with product tables, carousel, category lists, search bar, store logo, dashboard button, plus a Theme Builder set for single product pages with a draggable Product Info widget. Every widget understands variations, subscriptions, coupons, and taxes, and pulls in FluentCart's styling automatically. For agencies, a beautiful layout and a working checkout are finally the same surface.
- SSLCommerz payment gateway. A little personal for us. Across Bangladesh and much of South Asia, SSLCommerz is the provider customers actually trust at checkout. Now it is a first-class option, installable in one click. Customers pay the way they already do every day, in their own currency.
- Paddle payments that settle correctly, every time. Paddle's Merchant of Record model could leave an order unpaid when it added tax, removed VAT for a reverse charge, or charged in another currency. FluentCart now reconciles that automatically, marks the order paid, and lets it flow straight to fulfillment and license delivery. A whole category of stuck orders, gone.
- The exact options a customer chose, shown everywhere. Size, color, material now carry through every surface: cart, checkout, receipts, subscription item names, and the admin order builder. Plus an itemized per-rate tax breakdown on PDF receipts.
A few nice improvements too: customers can update their saved card themselves (including on Paddle), faster email editing with smart merge-tag links, an inline option picker and per-variant checkboxes in the variation editor, Bricks product template support, and free add-ons no longer asking for a license. Plus dark mode polish and ongoing security hardening.

1) I've opened a ticket with support, when trying to update the free plugin to 1.5.2 it gives an error saying it requires WP 7.x, surely a bug of some sort?
2) Please could you explain what the improvements with multi-currency are? Is this related to Vibe Code 's PR for the FCHub Multi-Currency plugin?

- Which WP version are you using? Looks like WP 7 is required for updates where we stated that atleast 6.7 is required. Looks like it's a WP Core issue, We are investing the issue. We are recommending to upgrade your WP core version to 7.0
- It was paddle multi-currency checkout support. Paddle sometimes charge on the local currency which we have supported it in this version.
Shahjahan Jewel 1) Thanks, we can't upgrade WP to 7.x yet, Learndash hasn't confirmed compatibility and has advised against it until compatibility is officially confirmed. 2) Is there more information about this somewhere? Is it related to the FCHub Multi-currency plugin? Or does FluentCart support multi-currencies natively now?

Shahjahan Jewel I still don't see a way to display a product's long description with the Product Info widget. Am I overlooking something or is that still not available?
Shahjahan Jewel Also, the Filter has not worked on my Elementor shop page for quite some time now. It used to work. Now it does not display. I have the latest version of Elementor and update all plugins daily.

#1 For the elementor widgets. none of them seem to display the "excerpt" in the layout when selected. #2 Also for the products widget. is there now way to select just one specific category for it to display? I don't want customers to be able to select the category, i want them to see only 1 specific category. #3 Would be nice if there was a way to have a product private (as in doesnt show on the products page), but still be able to use it on a selected salespage in a funnel (so its exclusive to people going through that funnel).
