FluentCart 1.3.19 - Packaging Support, Redesigned Variation Editor and more 📦
Another release is out today, and this is a big one for stores selling physical products.
We finally shipped proper packaging support. This is the base we needed before we can build accurate shipping rate calculations and carrier integrations on top. Been wanting to get this in for a while, honestly.
The variation editor also got a full redesign. The old side panel was getting too crowded, especially once you add subscriptions with trials, setup fees, inventory, and now packaging fields too. It needed a proper rethink.
Here is what is new in 1.3.19:
- Packaging Support for Physical Products. New Packages screen at Settings → Shipping → Packages. You can create reusable package profiles (Box, Envelope, Soft Package) with length, width, height, unit, and empty weight. Assign them per variation and the data goes straight into the order. This is what rate calculators need to give you proper quotes.
- Redesigned Variation Editor. A new modal with two columns. Variations list on the left, the selected variation on the right, with clean collapsible sections for Pricing, Inventory, SKU, and Shipping. Simple edits stay simple, and complex variations finally get room to breathe.
- Lots of internal improvements.
Plus a fix for price input fields that were showing values in the wrong format, and another fix for saved views conflicting with active filters in the product list.

Fantastic work. The new variations panel looks very good and convenient, though I still have to try it out. Very nice that the base for physical shipping is now in place.
Have you also added new shortcodes to display product and packaging weights and dimensions?
Don't know if you're taking requests for native shipping carrier integrations, but my vote goes to PostNL.
F. C. This is the foundation for the shipping integrations. We needed these product attributes to calculate the shipping. Now anyone can build the dynamic shipping costs with these attributes.

F. C. We may publish some most popular one but we wanted to build the foundation so anyone can build addons for smaller providers. It will be hard for us to build the direct integration for all the 200 countries.

Shahjahan Jewel can you confirm that Mollie has options for subscriptions other than creditcard? Does SEPA and Bancontact work for subscriptions?
I have 2 clients using Mollie that are not able to accept subscriptions other than with creditcard

There is a clear vision behind FluentCart: truly simplifying the lives of WordPress store owners, not just adding more features. The redesigned variation editor is exactly the kind of improvement many have been waiting for. The time savings and clarity it brings will make a real difference in day-to-day operations.
The same goes for the packaging system. This is the kind of real-world problem that directly impacts margins, and the fact that you’ve integrated it cleanly, without extra cost or external dependencies, shows a deep understanding of what store owners actually need.
More broadly, the pace of updates and the direction you’re taking are impressive. Replacing multiple plugins with a cohesive, integrated solution is, in my view, exactly what the WordPress ecosystem needs.

Great to see the new enhancements and features, great work. I hope Shahjahan Jewel will release the Divi theme builder support in the coming release, please. Divi 5 is live now, and it's stable, and we are expecting FluentCart to support and build for Divi 5. Great Work, thank you.
2 bugs found in this latest version:
- Cannot add more than two pricing variations.
- Cannot enable License for the product, it failed to save settings and goes back to "disable" mode.
I've to roll back to previous version for now.
I cannot roll back without installing a plugin because FluentCart's license tab only show the latest version. Please consider having a few previous versions as download selection - Freemium has this feature. Thanks.
