FluentCart 1.3.14 is live β€” bulk imports, Flutterwave payments, and early installments πŸš€

We've been shipping fast, and 1.3.14 keeps that momentum going. This release is focused on removing the friction that growing stores run into every day.

Here's what's new:

  • πŸ“¦ Bulk Product Import: No more adding products one by one. You can now import large product catalogs via CSV β€” with variations, pricing, and metadata all mapped correctly into FluentCart's structure. Perfect if you're migrating from another platform or launching a big digital library.
  • 🌍 Flutterwave Payment Gateway: We've added Flutterwave as an official add-on. If you're selling to customers in Africa or other emerging markets where Stripe and PayPal fall short, this opens the door. Multiple currencies, local payment methods, and solid card processing β€” all without custom workarounds.
  • ⏩ Early Installment Payments: Customers on installment plans can now pay off their balance early if they want to. More flexibility for them, better cash flow for you.
  • πŸ”§ Customizable Product Shortcodes: Developers and advanced builders can now control how products render with more granular shortcode parameters. Great for complex page layouts or older themes that need FluentCart's product engine without block constraints. Full docs here: https://docs.fluentcart.com/guide/customization-and-themes/fluentcart-shortcode
  • 🎨 New Gutenberg Blocks: Three new storefront blocks: Sale Badge, Out of Stock Badge, and Product Description. Place and style them directly in your Gutenberg layout without touching theme files.
  • πŸ–ΌοΈ Add Images via URL: Product images can now be served from external URLs - no upload required. Helpful for stores with large media libraries or performance-sensitive setups.

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed coupon per-user limit enforcement (edge cases where limits weren't applying correctly)
  • Fixed "cart not found" error in modal checkout under certain async flow conditions.

Update your store and let us know what you think. Full release notes here: https://fluentcart.com/blog/fluentcart-v1-3-14/

Shahjahan JewelΒ Nice, is the Bulk Product Import what's going to help us migrate from EDD V3.x, and if so is there a documentation for that? I couldn't find any information in the plugin itself. Also does it support active subscriptions? Thanks!

Shahjahan Jewel

Screenplay UnlimitedΒ We did not shipp that feature yet. The team is working on it.

Shahjahan JewelΒ Thanks for your quick reply. I'm not going to ask you when it's expected, given that it's been "in two weeks" for the last five months... I guess we'll just have to give up on that and assume it will never happen, keep our free products and existing subscriptions with EDD and create new memberships and online courses paid for products in FluentCart as soon as multi-currency is supported. It looks like you're focusing on everything EXCEPT helping users to move from EDD, so I guess we have to accept it. If you were to support multi-currency, at least we would be able to move our paid-for products over to FluentCart, and start using the product. If there is no planned support for multi-currency, then I guess we'll just have to forget about FluentCart entirely.

Halil Gungormus

Screenplay UnlimitedΒ Totally agree with you, I am also waiting for EDD migration, the dev team is way far from being on track for the features they promised! Annoying!

Shahjahan Jewel

Screenplay UnlimitedΒ we want to release the migrator as soon as possible and it's a sweet spot for our growth. But we have to prepare and match all the features so people can migrate without any issues.

Shahjahan JewelΒ I fully understand that, and obviously we want something that works, which is why I've been very patient, but you've been promising that EDD V3.0 migration feature on launch day, saying it would be available Q4 2025, and we're now reaching the end of Q1 2026 and we've seen dozens of NEW features delivered, while the features promised at launch are still NOT delivered, which means we can't use a product we bought because of the features promised AT LAUNCH. I would never have purchased FluentCart if I had known that EDD migration and multi-currency (two major features) would still not be implemented six months after launch. We have to renew our EDD license in two weeks, frankly I thought we would have migrated to FluentCart a long time ago. Based on your promises, I had planned to do so in January-February, and now that window is closing. Of course, don't release it if it's not ready, but still, it's annoying to see many new features released version after version, most of which I don't care about, when the basic features that would allow us to start using and testing the product are still not delivered six months later. I'm available to beta test the EDD migration on a staging site whenever you are ready to test by the way. Alternatively, just make it clear that the product is in beta and that the LTD will be available as long as the product is in beta, instead of making promises you can't fullfil and force us to buy the LTD in two weeks. That way, there won't be any misunderstanding, and we can buy early if we want to support the development, without expecting anything for months, or wait to buy until the product is ready to use.

Shahjahan Jewel

Screenplay UnlimitedΒ You're right to be frustrated, and I'm not going to make excuses. The EDD migration took longer than we told you it would, and that's on us.

If EDD migration was the primary reason you purchased FluentCart and it's still not ready when you need it, please open a support ticket and request a refund. We'll process it immediately, no questions asked.

Shahjahan JewelΒ Thank you, I appreciate this acknowledgement, it helps to accept the situation. The primary reason I purchased Fluentcart was to be able to use it :) We are on EDD, so EDD migration was a big part of the purchase decision, and our plan was to migrate before the EDD license renewal in March 2026 (this month). As I said, I could move our paid products to FluentCart manually as we only have two paid courses and 3 memberships, while keeping our free products with EDD until you handle free downloads the way EDD does, i.e. direct download without going through checkout, and ability to tag each download with FluentCart to start an automation with FluentCRM (we have hundreds of free products, moving them manually isn't an option). But the big block for paid products is the lack of multi-currency. We have users around the world, so it's important for us that they can select their own currency (or the closest one) when they check out, which they can do with EDD Pro. Especially the main three for our audience (USD, GBP and Euro). I'm sure many users are in this case. If this is a planned feature for FluentCart, I'll wait with EDD one more year until it becomes available (hopefully before our next license renewal with EDD in March 2027!) . Otherwise it most likely means that we'll never be able to use FluentCart, so that might be my first refund with FluentManage Ninja (I own most of your products). It would be the first time, so I'd rather avoid that. As I said, besides this frustration with FluentCart, I'm a big fan of your products and of your work :)

Shahjahan Jewel

Screenplay UnlimitedΒ Just to let you know. we don't have any immediate plan for multi-currency support, although our internal database is designed to support multi-currency. So maybe EDD will be better for your use cases for now.

Shahjahan JewelΒ I understand that multi-currency won't happen now, but are you saying that it won't happen in the next year? If that's the case, why did you pitch FluentCart as a replacement for EDD, saying that unlike EDD FluentCart would handle all the Pro features in standard without all the additional plugins? How do you even want to compete with EDD without multi-currency? You have been a lot more upfront with FluentCommunity. It was clear at launch that FluentCommunity would never be a replacement for a proper LMS like Learndash, so although it would be great if one day it was possible, I'm not complaining all the time that FluentCommunity doesn't support this or that feature that are possible with Learndash. You never pitched FluentCommunity as a Learndash replacement, so I purchased it for the Community features. That wasn't your approach with EDD when you pitched FluentCart, hence my frustration. Especially as FluentCart won't be able to compete with EDD if it doesn't support a basic feature such as multi-currency, which was promised at launch. I've completely bought into the Fluent eco-system, so having better integration from our payment processor with the other Fluent plugins is a big deal for us.

Shahjahan Jewel

Screenplay UnlimitedΒ As far I remember, I never pitched that we will have multi-currency and also why we will copy every feature of EDD or Woo. we have our own vision and are making the product better in every week. I don't think 95% of the merchants need multi-currency. Look at woo, even they don't have a multi-currency feature in the core.

Again I can say, FluentCart is a EDD replacement with all the licensing, subscriptions, and installments and event it's much more faster than EDD. I am saying this, because we were one of the biggest EDD users.

Now Multi-currency in FluentCart: As I said, our database design supports it but we don't know when we will implement it in the UI level. I don't have any ETA.

Shahjahan JewelΒ Thanks for the clarification, it helps to reset expectations.

Regarding multi-currency, my recollection is that you said at launch time (not sure if it was during the VIP launch or the official launch) that it might take up to a year because you wanted to do it properly. Christophe PasquierΒ commented on this at the time when @Shayne Thomas asked about multi-currency at the time, so maybe he'll be able to confirm this.

Anyway, now that you've clarified where we stand today, let's put the past behind us and let's talk about the future :)

As you mentioned database structure, I think you might have misunderstood what I and many other FluentCart users need regarding multi-currency. It's not about storing prices for each individual product in multiple currencies. It's simply about the user having the option to select their own currency at checkout.

Even the EDD multi-currency add-on doesn't allow to specify prices in different currencies for each product. That would actually be a hassle as you would have to maintain the exchange rates for each currency and each product manually.

What the EDD multi-currency add-on does is simply to allow the user to select one of different currencies during checkout (please see screenshot below) so that they can see what they are going to pay in their own currency, which really improves conversion and reduces cart abandonment. This is why I believe it's an essential feature for those selling digital products worldwide (online course or other info-products, software licenses, etc).

Implementing this doesn't mean any change to the core code, as all the transactions, products, etc. remain stored and displayed in a single/main currency (the one defined in settings) for their pricing on the back end, and all the products display only one price in a single currency across the website on the front-end.

The EDD add-on also syncs the different currency exchange rates automatically with an online conversion service, or you can fix the exchange rate for each currency in the settings, but again it's just one table for all products, that is only used during checkout, and the online service used for the daily exchange rate conversion could be used by FluentCart if it's used by EDD.

This doesn't sound like a huge development to me, so I hope that you will reconsider and put this multi-currency "minimal" support on the roadmap, as many of your users have asked about this feature.

I am happy to help define this and test it on a staging site (like I will be happy to test your EDD migration when it's ready).

I won't ask for a refund as I hope that I will be at some point able to use FluentCart, and I won't keep asking for EDD migration or multi-currency at each release, but I hope that both will come at some point.

Thanks again for taking the time to reply and for your acknowledgment and clarifications, and for considering implementing in the near future the "simple" multi-currency implementation I defined above.

Shahjahan Jewel

Screenplay UnlimitedΒ Vibe CodeΒ already built an addon so you can take a look here: https://fchub.co/docs/fchub-multi-currency

Shahjahan JewelΒ That looks perfect, that's exactly what EDD multi-currency does, so it looks like we'll be able to migrate as soon as EDD Migration V3 ships :) Let me know if you need a beta tester, I'm happy to experiment on a staging site. Glad that we managed to clear all this up, and many thanks to Vibe CodeΒ for sharing this addon :)

Paul Hopkins

Shahjahan JewelΒ The problem for me with this multicurrency add on is that it ultimately charges in your own currency, which means for subscriptions that get an odd amount charged. I've vibe coded something that sets up the stripe/paypal amount in their own currency, so that they subscribe for €12 instead of €11.83. It looks better from their end. It also credit cards rejecting the payment because it looks like a weird amount. I'd love it if you did this officially! FluentCart is so good for me Shahjahan Jewel. This setup with fluentcommunity and fluentCRM just works.

Vibe Code

great update! Especially bulk product import 🀩
About the gutenberg store enhancements, can I use this to create custom product templates with for example Kadence Elements?

Madis Mark

Noticed that we can add attributes in the CSV. But it still only works for simple variations, right?

Zahidul Fitri

Amazing update πŸ₯°

Zahidul Fitri

Can this bulk product import use for fluent cart to fluent cart? Example: export & import product from fluent cart (website A) to fluent cart (website B)?

Sophia S

Shahjahan JewelΒ well done, any hopes of having Manual subscriptions?

Shahjahan Jewel

Sophia SΒ Yes. Hopefully within next month.

Hi Shahjahan JewelΒ

I have do a request to coupon code with free trial period.

Do you have explain ?

Teddy Skokos

Shahjahan JewelΒ this is yet another great update! I'm a big fan of all of the Fluent products. Thank you!

Feature Request for Initial Retainer & Delivery Charges. I have a feature request for my use case as a tax and estate planning attorney. I need to be able to charge an initial retainer fee when a product is purchased (typically 50% of the total cost) and then have the remaining balance charged to the customer/client when I deliver the final documents to them.

The initial retainer fee could be the "setup fee" that is a current feature, but the displayed price of the product needs to include the setup fee in the displayed price of the product.

The final charge to collect payment of the remaining balance owed needs to be somehow triggered by the event of the work being completed and the documents being emailed/shipped to the client rather than a fixed period of time that occurs with an installment payment.

Actually you have done excellent. Please when can we expect your integration with funnel builders. Funnel building is key. Please consider

Flutterwave Payment Gateway - this is amazing, thanks

Justice Akorede

Any update on when multi-currency will be available? This is the only thing keeping me from Migrating.

Shahjahan Jewel

Justice AkoredeΒ we don't have any immediate plan for multi-currency support, although our internal database is designed to support multi-currency.

Vibe Code

Justice AkoredeΒ if you do staging I'm happy to share multi currency for you to test.

Justice Akorede

Vibe CodeΒ Yes sure

Shahjahan Jewel

Vibe CodeΒ This is cool. Feel free to post as a separate thread and let people know. By the way, I think you should submit this addon to wp.org.

Vibe Code

Shahjahan JewelΒ I will, writing post now... but I use modern code practices - not archive wordpress coding rules, so not even sure they will accept it... they still super behind with rules, PER-CS 3.0 on my plugins

Vibe CodeΒ Thank you so much for sharing this. I'll be testing this on a staging site and will report any issue on your github.

Vibe Code

Screenplay UnlimitedΒ perfect, then give it a star :P next thing will blow your mind too

Justice Akorede

Vibe CodeΒ This is really great, love it.
Is it possible to have an option to checkout in customers currency?
My business is primarily UK and Nigeria, if default currency is set to GBP many Nigerians don't have debit cards that will process foreign currency.

This is really great by the way.
Thank you.

What about invoice customization? FC is not usable in whole EU without it.

Vibe Code

Marc MeeseΒ clarify

Marc Meese

Vibe Code In the EU, many countries have different requirements for how an invoice must be structured and what information it must contain. The 'Under development' section for invoice customization is a step in the right direction, allowing for the customization of invoices. Unfortunately, these changes cannot be saved yet because the feature hasn't been implemented. Until this is functional, FluentCart cannot be used, as tax authorities may reject the invoices.

Helmar Rudolph

Marc MeeseΒ truth. Needs urgent attention, just like shipping & handling fees. Otherwise no fun in EU.
