FluentAffiliate Beta is here - Special Access

As part of the Fluent ecosystem, we are building an amazing Affiliate System as well. But it's not just limited to Fluent Products. We added support for all the popular e-commerce, membership, and LMS plugins. Integrations with Fluent Plugins (specially FluentCart) are completely free!

Today, I am inviting you to try FluentAffiliate, you will get a similar super-fast experience like FluentCart.

Here is the beta access to the FluentAffiliate Plugin. We still have a few features left, but you can try it with the current beta build. Our team is working hard to release version 1.0.

Hosted Demo with tons of Data:

We have prepared a hosted demo for you so you can test with the dummy data (WooCommerce + FluentAffiliate)

It's a very basic server hosted on xCloud with Woo installed, so you may get some latency.

Download the plugin and try it on your site:

If you want to try on your installation, please follow this:

How to install the beta:

  • Download from Github:Β click here to download
  • Install on your WordPress site (Staging preferred)
  • Activate the plugin
  • Go to the Dashboard -> Fluent Toolkit menu in the WordPress admin panel
  • You will see a list of all Fluent Plugins that are available as a beta
  • Install the FluentAffiliate & pro beta version of the plugins to test

Note: Please do not change the password or provide private information. As it's a shared instance.

Please let me know your thoughts in this thread. Would love to hear your feedback and improve. :)

By the way, we are about to release an awesome FluentCart update in a few days.

To verify:

  • When I tried to reverse some payouts and then the Referral status there is a "bug".

Case scenario: when a Payout was already marked as Paid before and we want to changed it to Processing status (for some reason) then I am unable to Edit Referral Status since it is has Paid status already (but Payout step before althouth its the payout status was manually changed from Paid to Processing) which blocks any status changes

  • hint for payouts (error message) could be improved (show max amount for a selected user/users) for a case when dates are not specified but only a sigle user was selected for a payout and the amount is larger thab unpaid amount - the error message could show also the max amount that can be entered as payout - reason: enetered amount is too high

Mat β€ŽΒ Love all these suggestions. Forwarding to the team.

Shahjahan JewelΒ one more... when a Affiliate Group is created with a Flat rate ($) and saved and later you want to edit that Affiliate Group then the commition type and amount is not populated but it is reset to the % with the amount/numeric field 0 value.

I think when someone wants to edit the Affiliate Group details the previous values/settings should be populated.

Also I am not sure if changing the % or $ will change all already existing Paid (historical values) and especially unpaid values already registered/captured in our db.

Maybe already processed payout table should also include the Payout $/Ωͺ in a payout column for futher reference in case someone messed up with Affiliate Groups or changed values without awareness that it might change all historical records

Shahjahan JewelΒ  Affiliate Dashboard part comments:

  • Dark mode icon is missing

  • when generating affiliate link and there is an error the popup/bubble error message doesnt fit into a screen (Mobile an# Desktop)

ex: try to enter url google.com to trigger the error message in the Links tab > click Generate link button

  • optimize UI for the bottom nav menu so it is visible on a Mobile (pagination outside the screen - could be split into two lines)

  • for the referrals table Affiliate could see a column: Registered User with a tickmark only (we dont want to display that userName) - this might be useful for SignUp Leads for the Affiliate

  • Maybe it would be good to add ID (YYMMID format) column to Referrals/Payouts table so it can be easily used as a reference when Affiliate communicate with the Admin (dispute)

  • add sort by column/filter/search/view columns icons to all tables

Note: I am not sure why the thread was posted in the fCart Space but I think more testers in the fAffiliate Space can bring new findings before releasing this plugin live

ps. probably many users are expecting integration with the fCommunity (thats my feeling) but I am not sure if this will happen or this plugin is dedicated only to eCommerce/Shops which is completly different route/audience

Comment:

  • affiliate profile once it is created might not be sync with Wordpress/CRM user profile

  • for visits tab some kind of old logs management would be nice.

Either auto cleanup for visits logs >90 days (converted visits/logs stay in place) or easy way to delete old logs manually (bulk selection for deletion) - Pro

  • email notification button with a long text breaks into two lines on Mobile - fortunatelly we can edit the email template notification so its not an issue. Also there is a typo error ACCEESS unless it was changed manually by a user.

Donald McGuinn

love the dark mode!

Mat β€Ž

Shahjahan JewelΒ minor color adjustment needed in a Dark Mode + top submenu sometimes floting from the top (when the wp admin top menu is not sticky on the top whike scrilling up on Mobile)

Pascal Claro

Awesome, looks very promising! Con't wait for FluentCart to be published to see how they will work together ;)

Woo hoo!

Shahjahan JewelΒ I might be blind, but I'm struggling to find where you are setting the affiliate link on a per product basis. There are use cases where you might not want to offer this for certain products etc.

Ryk MelckΒ It's in the connection settings. Using product meta is expensive so we use a centralized place to manage all the custom rates.

Ryk Melck

Shahjahan JewelΒ can you point me to the "Connection Settings"? The only option I see in settings is "Affiliate Groups". When you say is "expenesive", I'm assuming you mean it's taxing on the server?

Ryk MelckΒ expenesive => Server Resources / More query when calculating the rates.

Ryk Melck

Shahjahan JewelΒ thank you for the screenshot. Without the screenshot I would have never read that. Serves me right for not reading all the options with a fine comb.

Wow, loving the build here. Looks awesome, clean, and fast. I know several clients who would love this.

Hello Shahjahan JewelΒ .

Would you recommend using this in a subdomain?

Seems like it will create a lot of entries on the data base due to refferrers, UTM data and so.

It will be recommended to have it installed where all the Fluent suite is? Or separatedly?

And...

Do we have any info of release dates for FluentCart and Fluentaffiliate?

I have one project in mind, and would love to make a beta launch with both!

Jorge de los ReyesΒ This need to be installed where your store plugin is installed. Also it store all the data to custom tables like all of our plugins.

Feature request for FluentAffiliate: an integration with GamiPress so when someone buys a product with a referal link, the referer gets GamiPress points instead of money.
And same feature request for FluentCart: a user can pay/renew, with GamiPress points
