Fluent Cart Product Addons + Customer Uploads

Hoping someone here has run into this before and found a solution.

I'm working on closing a project for a client who does custom print and graphic products. Customers need to be able to select add-ons on a product (paid or not paid) (like customization options) and also upload their artwork or design files as part of that same process before checking out.

FluentCart Pro doesn't support that kind of product add-on setup with file uploads natively yet. I can see "Advanced Variable Products" is on the roadmap for Q3 2026 but it's still in the development queue, so that's not going to help me right now.

I really want to build this on FluentCart and keep her in the Fluent ecosystem. If I end up putting her on something else just to solve this one thing (she wants it done soon), getting her to migrate later is going to be a whole thing.

Has anyone found or made a workaround for this?
