Fluent Cart is an absolute beast. Love it. Open source.
So I had a few days off from the big project I've been grinding on and decided to help a mate migrating from WooCommerce to Fluent Cart. Started innocent enough. Polish payment gateway Przelewy24. Done, tested, works. Next up, invoicing, another Polish necessity for automated invoices and KSeF compliance. Few hours later? Done, tested, works.
And this is where Fluent Cart genuinely earns its keep as open source.
Next challenge: Memberships. Not just any memberships though. One that plays nicely with FluentCRM, FluentCart, FluentCommunity... you won't believe it but, done, tested, works. And not some bare-bones hack either. Dozens of features implemented. Solid enough that other membership plugins should be getting nervous.
Cherry on top. I saw the Ninja Team is planning a WooCommerce to Fluent Cart migrator. Cute. Except my mate needed it now. 6,000 products don't migrate themselves. So there's now a fully working WooCommerce to Fluent Cart migrator built out of pure necessity.
Dropping all my toys here for free. Test them, break them, tell me what explodes. Just do a staging or backup first.
I like your style, bro. 😀🚀
Cointacter I hope one day fluentcommunity free version will opensource code so we can style and connect better and faster :P
Vibe Code it is already. its on wordpress.org and u can even fork it if u want to 😜
Cointacter uugh wordpress.org :P is UI there too?
Cointacter that's the plugin files which we all have already though? It's mostly compiled js.
Ross FCA yes, the free if its on wporg its open source.
Vibe Code yes but of course u can edit whatever u want to. technically and logically
Cointacter it's compiled, no vue source etc... with fluentcart it's a dream to work... seriously you can even integrate deeply to their UI, check that video https://cln.sh/JRDVxnnN+
Vibe Code Oohw wow haha! You recreated Memberpress in a day with Fluent UI 😀
Next Level Web never used memberpress... and again... it's customised to general requirements... not packed with tons of features I'd never use :P and it's made for fluentcart and fluent crm... here is the biggest beauty I always miss on membership plugins... watch https://cln.sh/hZdqH7TF+
Vibe Code Wow really good, all that integrations
Vibe Code what you say is not true. It can be forked both technically and legally.
Ross FCA what you say is not true. It can be forked both technically and legally.
Cointacter if you can point me to the uncompiled files then please do. Don't be pointing me to an app.js though 😅
😲 mic drop. Have wondered where you'd been! Looking forward to having a wee dig into this, especially memberships 👏🏻
Ross FCA man... long story short back in November some company got in touch regarding some project... finally started early December... it's a big piece... nearly there, my first few days of catching breath so I thought I will jump and see how's FluentCart is doing... and boom instead of chilling I knock keys on my keyboard because awesome things can be done for FluentCart...
Yup, memberships will make your day... I'm aware there might be some features to work on... but hey, just open issue on github...
How can you use the WooCommerce Migrator when migrating from an old website to a new one? It says that WooCommerce needs to be installed.
Next Level Web I didn't take that scenario. My case was website with woocommerce, install fluent cart, activate migrator. Migrate. Check. Say goodbye to WooCommerce.
Vibe Code Nice to see you're back and thanks for contributing back to the community with your plugins! It will be great to know your future plan in terms of support and upkeep for these plugins (for use on live sites)....I know they are open source, but not all are coders!
Debo Ogunrinde hey! normal stuff. I check github every day :P
Vibe Code Just installed your membership plugin...it's full fledged membership with awesome UI....still testing but so far so great---integrates nicely with FluentCRM, FluentCart and FluentCommunity...just wow.
Debo Ogunrinde you're welcome buddy. give a star on github and we good :P
Vibe Code You got it...
That is the most generous thing I have seen in a long time. You are giving away what sounds like commercial quality software. I look forward to checking them out.
Great stuff
What is the differance between your Rest API docs and the official one of Fluentcart?
Next Level Web do the math - check endpoints covered
Interesting. Be great to have some sort of importer for course, at least course structures. Thanks for the share.
James Robinson yeah... I was thinking about it... but for now I won't touch FluentCommunity. I love Ninjas team approach to FluentCart... if they can keep it open source then I'm all in...
Mcp works with chatgpt too?
John Franzen works with codex for sure, but chatgpt app - soon - openai chatgpt requires oauth2... which isn't click and ready to use. but I will get this done in future releases.
Is magic real? How can this be, I'm not sure I believe my eyes. Thank you for this Vibe Code I can't even wrap my head around how this can happen. I am nervous too. I think I have over 150,000 sales. Plus memberships, so I'm quite scared to try this.
What happens to the product URLs? Do they all stay the same?
The only thing stopping me from switching to FluentCart is multi-currency.
Justice Akorede is it in roadmap?
Vibe Code not officially, but last year Shahjahan Jewel said they want to do it right and it might take some time, probably this year.
He used surecart as an example who claim to support multiple currencies, but only for display, still uses default currency as checkout.
It seems multi currency is not their main focus now, hence the reason why I cant switch. Cant blaim them though, even the Yaycurrency I use with Woo is from thirdparty and most of other features
Justice Akorede as soon as github will get latest version I will work on it, hopefully it can become official implementation.
Yann O currently demand is super low. Still if you try to dig... FluentCart lunch was back in October '25. It's March '26 - how many FluentCart fully working shop websites have you seen? like really working. I think people on hype jumped onboard but few months later still they didn't switch to FluentCart. Anyway, dokan style is not in my interest, but multicurrency I will continue and release
Vibe Code no worries at all, I can completely understand.
I'm currently stuck in a bit of a limbo. I've got multi-vendor going with WCVendors, but obviously, it's only for Woo. The plugin itself sucks and hasn't made any progress for many years now. I really want to find a way to migrate to FluentCart, as it's really promising, and since I'm using the other Fluent plugins, it would only make sense, but yeah, just the support for multi-vendor is currently a bit of a hurdle.
Yann O there are many blockers. FC is promising but very young plugin, even in trusted big ecosystem of Fluent*... it's moving forward slowly. Thankfully it's dev friendly. Ninjas is a big team of devs, things are probably cooking slowly because of decision makers. Anyway, lets see what will happen, for now I really would love someone from Ninja team to get shit together on github - it's annoying that it was opensourced there and no one is looking what's happening there, no updates, no progress
why it's free? https://fchub.co/blog/fchub-manifesto
Thank you. As mush as I like coding, I'd rather click and submit. The FCHub Portal Extender is much easier than writing a snippet and I thank you for that.
Gonna look at the membership plan cuz I do it all via FluentCRM and Breakdance conditionals, but this seems easier.
