Feature Request: Affiliate URLs
I own FluentCart but have not made the switch from Woo yet. In addition to my own print and digital books, I use my shop to promote affiliate products, with shop items linking out to external sites via my referall links. It appears FluentCart does not have this capability. Please consider it!
There’s already an addon that can do exactly this with FluentCart: Fluently Toolkit (ref).
I haven’t personally tested this particular feature yet, but the Toolkit includes External Products, allowing you to set a custom product URL and button text so customers are redirected to the external/affiliate website instead of FluentCart checkout.
I have used another one of Nelson’s plugins before (SureCart Services) and it’s genuinely great, so I’d definitely take a look at this one too.

However, there's nothing else that the Fluently Toolkit provides that I really need or could use, and while it's reasonably priced, one of my reasons for wanting to switch from Woo is to avoid add-ons to get the functionality I need. I'd still like to see this capability built natively into FluentCart. I imagine it would be a relatively simple development task to achieve.

We actually just finished developing this feature yesterday! It lets you add an external URL for each variant, with custom button text and the option to open the link in a new tab.
We'll be adding it to CartCubes Toolbox soon.

Jeremy Hammond CartCubes Toolbox is our addon for FluentCart. It is a set of store tools you can turn on as you need them, covering checkout, cart, pricing, emails, reminders, and similar tweaks. The external product link will be one of those tools, and we will add it there soon.
External Product is in Toolbox 1.2.1 now. Turn it on in Tools, then set the URL and button text on the product. It replaces Add to Cart and Buy Now.

Nikhil Modi Thank you for the update. I will consider your product, but I don't need other features of your plugin and feel the external link functionality ought to be native to FluentCart. I also await an option to get live shipping rates and to purchase and print shipping labels from my WP admin.

Same here, it is a basic feature of woo. And I don’t want to spend extra money on plugins or tools.
Its a very simple addon - you could get AI to do it for you till Fluent cart supports it.
