Do recurring discounts remain active after a code expires?
I have customers who joined using a discount code. New customers can use this code to sign up until January 31, and the discount is recurring. This means they keep the discounted price as long as they remain members.
My question is: will this recurring discount continue to apply for existing customers after January 31, once the code is no longer valid for new customers? Or do I need to set these discount codes without an end date if I want existing members to keep their discount for as long as they stay subscribed?
When your discount code or coupon code expires, your customers can no longer use it. However, any existing orders will continue to receive the recurring discount until the active subscription is cancelled.
Ripon Sarkar Thanks, that's exactly what I was hoping for. After this month I don't want that new customers can use the code, but of course I want for the existing customers who used the code within the timeframe, keep their discount indefinitely.
