Difficult to Locate United States

When I type in "United" for country on checkout, it hangs up on 'United States Minor Outlying Islands" and continuing to type out 'United States' doesn't make it move down the list. If I type 'United States of' it will work, but most checkouts don't specify 'of America' so I'm afraid this isn't going to throw people. Is there any way to place the United States Minor Outlying Islands next to United States of America so it's more obvious? Thanks!
