Deposits
Fluent Cart - Is a customer able to have the option to pay a deposit upon ordering a product and paying the balance when it's ready to be delivered?
I've put in a feature request for deposits through a support ticket earlier. I'll add my +1 here.
My use case is food containers, cans and bottles that should have a deposit amount per unit automatically added to the order when such a product is ordered.
F. C. oh cool! i sell beef from our farm in large quantities. we take a deposit when they place their order and then the balance once the beast is cut and packaged ready for delivery.
Fiona Bryce Nice, so you are looking to charge a flat deposit fee per order? Hopefully the implementation in FC (if they do it) will be flexible enough to allow for various structures. So per item added to the cart, or a flat fee per order, etc.
F. C. we sell 1/4 1/2 and whole beasts as well as boxes. the beasts are high ticket so we charge a flat fee deposit per beast portion. if they buy boxes they are few hundred dollars so they pay in full. I use a Partial Payment and Deposit plug in with woo commerce at the moment.
Does't have that feature right now, I will take a note on this. Thanks for the feedback

Sarkar Ripon how are we going with this. it looks like i am not the only one who would find this very useful. at the moment i am trying to find a work around. this was the only thing that would have held me back from fluent but i jumped anyway and hoping it is coming soon.

I host clinics for equestrians with a limited number of spots and the deposit holds their spot until balance is due.
