coupons not working?
I've created a coupon for a fixed 5$, but when I want to apply on checkout I get an error. Do I need to specify restrictions? Or is it supposed to work with no restrictions?
I haven't tried creating a coupon and not specifying the product category or item itself, but perhaps that's what needs to be selected for the coupon to work. If it's an overall coupon for anything (I have one of those), I just selected all categories. Perhaps give that a try Natascha Vantuykom 🙂
Victoria Volk tried it with selecting a specific product and also with a selected category, same error 😔 can not get any coupon to work
Hmm... at first I was going to ask if you only have an issue with this one coupon, but then I read that you can't get any coupon to work. I haven't ran into this issue, and can't think of anything in the settings that would be causing this, other than a possible restriction created around timing of use or max use or something like that.
Care to share a screenshot of your settings? I know the obvious to another person can be easily missed when you're in the weeds of setting stuff up - been there more times than I can count. lol!
It is supposed to work without restriction by default unless you apply any restrictions while setting up the coupon.

Ripon Sarkar looks like it is only an issue on this specific site. Fortunately this is just a testsite. If I stumble on this issue again on another site, I will contact support
