Coupon question
My store is in test mode, connected to Stripe in test mode. I'm testing the checkout for a subscription for a Fluent Community.
The checkout page looks fine, but when I enter the coupon (copied from the Coupons admin page) and click "Apply", I get a message "Coupon can not be applied."
All I can guess is that it's trying to apply the coupon to the zero balance rather than to the product cost. That doesn't make sense, because the coupon should apply when the transaction goes through after the trial period.

Charles MetzgerΒ I would investigate how to apply the coupon with FluentCRM after the 7 days trial.
Debo OgunrindeΒ The customer already input their payment info at purchase. I don't think the CRM can update the purchase price before the card is processed?
J'aimerais suivre cette demande, Shahjahan JewelΒ , est-ce prΓ©vu Γ l'avenir de pouvoir appliquer un coupon avec une pΓ©riode d'essai ?
LeBonFlip LBFΒ Do you know that a coupon won't work alongside a trial? Or are you assuming that based on my post? Trying to figure out if I should plan a workaround.
J'avais rΓ©alisΓ© "un ticket" via le service support il y a deux semaines et leur rΓ©ponse est malheureusement claire :
"Coupons cannot be applied to subscription products during a trial period.
Iβve shared your feedback with our product team for review and possible consideration for a future update."
Affaire Γ suivre..
LeBonFlip LBFΒ Ah, ok, thank you. That's disappointing and a surprising limitation, since it's a common use with a community, and they have a community plugin.
Shahjahan JewelΒ Is it expected that a coupon and a trial period wouldn't work together? I don't see anything in the docs for either topic about being incompatible. It's pretty common for communities. I want to have a first-year discount.
If they don't work together, I can create a reduced-price product instead. But would I be able to change the product price to the full price before the renewal?
