Cancel subscription - where?

I've purchased my own product to see what happens. Found out that there's no cancellation link/option, neither in the confirmation email nor in the user profile. How.on.earth? Or what am I missing?

User profile -> Subscriptions -> Select the subscription, at the right top side you will find a dropdown to cancel the subscription.

From admin side, in the subscription view, from actions you can cancel the subscription.

Shahjahan JewelΒ User profile where? Not in Wordpress. Not in FluentCommunity user profile (where I would expect it), not in FluentCart customer profile "[fluent_cart_customer_profile]". Either I'm blind or it's not obvious enough from the user's side. AND again, it should be in the confirmation email sent to the customer. Nothing annoys more than having to hunt for it. Same applies to actually deleting a FluentCommunity profile. You can only deactivate it, but not delete it - right?

From the admin side it's fine - thank you.

Helmar RudolphΒ did you create a my account page? (I think one is created automatically when the cart is installed) It should be there. It is for me.

WendyΒ Perkins ShoefΒ I did. See below. :)

Shahjahan JewelΒ wondering if this provides a refund to the customer? Does it cancel immediately or at the end of a billing cycle? I do not want to provide a refund, I just want to cancel any further payments. I see the cancel option but unlike stripe it doesn't ask me when to cancel. Alternatively, can subscriptions be cancelled directly in stripe?

Manuel MΓΌllerΒ - I cancelled this order as an admin (as you can see), but even before - from the user's side - there were no dots visible that allowed me to cancel it. Even if I collapse the left sidebar, nothing.

I just noticed that I have incorrectly set up my subscription product, because I activated "instalments" when the selector (monthly, quarterly, ...) was entirely sufficient.

This resulted in the product actually NOT being a subscription that can be cancelled, because it was limited to the number of installments, hence not "three dots" to cancel the subscription.

Deactivated the installment option, and now all makes sense - and hopefully works as advertised.

This proves it conclusively: the bottom order is "until cancelled", indicating an "open subscription", whereas the second one from the bottom pays the monthly subs fee, but only for a year, so it actually isn't a subscription but a monthly rate for 12 months, and then it ends. The same would have been the case for the other two orders, hence no "until cancelled".

Bottom line: user error. :)

Thank you for your post! I just had to use the screenshots here to figure out how to cancel my own WPMN subscriptions. I agree that it's waaayyyyy to hidden. While some people like to trap customers in subs, I don't. And this UI is arguably not compliant with many different regs. For our customers I'll be creating additional guidance to self-cancel.

Charlotte DΒ yes, this should be far more obvious, especially in situations where people are already "negatively inclined". Case in point: wanted to delete my account at svgator.com. No option visible/available anywhere on the account page. Highly annoying.

I also had difficulties finding where to cancel my order. Perhaps I logged in with another method than when purcased, because I looked around for a while, and first after logging in to this community and refreshing the site the three dots became visible.
Or perhaps because I de-activated shield in Brave browser.

Product in my case was fluentcommunity, not fluentcart btw.
