Can I roll my own Patreon with FluentCart?
I see the subscription feature, so it must be possible to offer different levels of subscriptions. I have a site I'm about to build that needs this but what happens if other people want to participate in my site? There's no way to allow them to run something like their own patreon or storefront, is there?
I have a FluentCommunity, FluentCRM, and FluentCart glue like add-on that will be released, hopefully in the next week or two, to do exactly that. It's called Partners for FluentCommunity. I saw this as a natural progression of gluing together the ecosystem that WPMN has provided for us. Here's a small teaser from the ad page...

Jeff would creators be able to manage their own membership levels?

Arp Laszlo sorry, I'm not sure what that would look like. I think you are referring to one community with many support channels? Maybe this could be possible with something like FluentAffilate? No idea about that. This is meant to support the community founder.
Jeff Mapes Did you release your add-on? I'm looking back at this again. To clarify my use-case:
I'm a creator and want to roll my own Patreon for myself. This part is easy, I've done it before with other plugins. But I have some peers who are interested but don't want their own site. Our art serves the exact same audience, so it makes more sense to pool our efforts into 1 site vs multiple.
It would be a Patreon-like co-op. But unlike Patreon, I don't need a function to allow people to create their own patreons to manage.
All the levels would be global, individual creators can't make their own levels. When someone joins the site, they can choose which creator they want to support (different subscription products would make this easy to track). Members would get access to content from all creators.
That's the general idea. I'm trying to figure out how to make it both fair and sustainable, because people are going to focus more on IRL communities with the current state of the interwebs.
