Bricks - Product Single Override

Anyone know how to override the FluentCart product single with a Bricks Single template?

I've tried many conditions but FluentCart single product page is still served first. This is preventing me from using the Visual Builder in each product because I don't want the default header in the FluentCart single product page.

My current workaround is as follows:

  • A CPT with my chosen Single and Archive templates.
  • An htaccess redirect from each product (product loop) on the Archive to my chosen CPT single template.

If there is no way to override the FluentCart product single in Bricks then this means duplication for me.

  1. In Bricks Templates, create a template named Single Product ( Post Type (Product).)
  2. Ensure there are no other Single ProductΒ pages existing within the page list.

winchell321Β thanks for the tip, the Single Product template is working and I just remembered the complication I was having now, sorry.

I'm pulling in a pre-configured Gutenbricks section template into the product visual builder which includes the Add to cart and Buy Now buttons along with a Bricksextras media player and PDF viewer. The problem is, I no longer need the default, FluentCart section that is being injected in. At this point, it seems the only way to hide it is with CSS and that isn't ideal for SEO reasons.

So, it's really the lack of customisation on the Single Product template that is the main pain point for me.

Apologies for my confusion, I found a way to customise the Single Product template. The only thing missing for me at this point is the ability to include ACF fields on the FluentCart product (Location Rules -> Post Type is equal to Product). This would then allow me to specify the MP3 sample files for the media player and PDF file for the lyrics inside the product screen.

Shahjahan Jewel is this a planned feature at all?

Mark DendyΒ you can use ACF in the product description visual builder and then in Bricks you can add that to your template.

Shahjahan Jewel, you beat me to it, yes I just finally figured it out, this product is truly amazing! Thanks for everything you and your team do.
