Any Way to Change the Wording of "Have a Coupon?" ?
As a membership website owner, I would love to change the wording of this on the checkout page to "Have an Invitation Code?" Is there a way to accomplish this — such as with a code snippet?
The word coupon seems to make people leave the checkout process and hunt for coupon codes before checking out. But, this method of asking for an invitation code, I believe, makes people think this field is only meant for people who were personally selected (invited) to join with a special or unique code, which isn't available to the masses. 😉
Have you tried Loco Translate? You can change a phrase, word, etc in some plugins.
I would love, love, love a setting baked into the plugin to change this one line! I’d also be very, very happy to change it with a snippet. I want to customize the coupon language myself, and I kinda refuse to install an entire translation plugin just for that.
The way it works should also change; when you click, the box opens instead of a fixed box, because it works with some themes and not others. In my case, I'm looking for a solution to make work with my current theme, and there's no way.
I did it with Loco Translate. Let me see if I can explain in next comment
- Install Loco Translate
- Select FluentCart (Not Pro!)
- Choose Language
- Scroll down, or search for, Have a Coupon
- In the Language translation box, enter your replacement text.
- Save and Boom! Done.

Curtis Bisel I just don't know any developer that allows that on the checkout level unless you are actually building within a form software. What I love about Loco Translate is that I can take any message or/and label in the database and "translate" it into something else. I have to do this with MemberPress and their "Forgot Password" link, which is cold and unfriendly. I change it to "Did you forget your password? Click here to change it." Or something shorter. I like conversation style instructions and so Loco Translate gives me that ability to do it in almost all plugins.

With Loco Translate, you can change almost any field name, message, etc.
In the (new) "Checkout Page" Gutenberg block, you can click on the "Have a Coupon?" sub-block in the "Checkout Summary" section... So instinctively, it FEELS like this could (potentially) be the perfect place to simply change this text to whatever you would like. But, there doesn't seem to be any "edit" feature here (yet). 🙏🏼🤞🏻
