An update on Printful / print-on-demand
Update July 29.07.26: Jeff Brigman has opened a request for FluentCart. Make sure to vote there.
Back during and right after launch some of you asked about connecting FluentCart to Printful for print-on-demand, and we said we'd look into it and come back to you. Here's where things stand.
We reached out to Printful's team directly. The short version: they're open to it, but building and maintaining an official integration is real engineering work on their side, and they allocate that work based on demand. Before they commit resources, they want to see that there's a genuine base of stores who would actually use a FluentCart connection. That's a fair ask, and it's how most platforms decide what to build next.
So the single most useful thing you can do right now is tell Printful yourselves. If you'd use a FluentCart + Printful integration, reach out to Printful support through their contact form or support channel and let them know you want it. Every request is a data point. Enough of them, and the conversation shifts from "maybe someday" to something they can actually plan around. We'll keep pushing from our side, but demand coming straight from their own customers carries far more weight than us asking on your behalf.
A note on why we're routing it this way rather than just building it ourselves. FluentCart is designed to be built on top of. We ship a REST API, hooks, and webhooks specifically so integrations like this can live in the wider ecosystem instead of all being owned by us. Taking on every third-party connection ourselves would pull our roadmap in a lot of directions at once and slow down the core work we think matters most. We'd rather keep FluentCart focused and give partners and developers a solid foundation to build against. An integration backed by Printful, or built by the community, will also be better maintained over time than one we bolt on and stretch to keep supported.
We're still in the conversation with Printful, and we'll share updates as it develops. If print-on-demand matters to your store, a quick message to their support team is the best way to help move it forward.
I really appreciate your approach and transparency around POD connections and APIs in general. I think in these present times the approach is correct, even if it's tough to wait on the market to catch up (meaning: tough to wait on the connections).
This post caught my eye because I'm literally in the process of hooking up FluentCart + Printify via Flowmattic. Flowmattic released a Printify connector in April, and I'm ready to field test it. 🤞🏼
I'm not currently using Printful, so I can't add to the pressure there, but maybe either they or Flowmattic will add a Printful-FC connection soon. 🤞🏼🤞🏼
Alright, everybody, put on your shoes, and let's go and flood Printful with our demands.
I would have done this on my path. No, its a lie that printful gotta do this to make it work right. Good, make them do it, its the best way anyway
I'll add my vote. I have a POD idea for a business and don't want to use Shopify.
I've been hoping for this, so I'll be adding my vote
I received a nice response from Printful support. They ask that we use this link to submit a feature request. You need to create an account to use it.

William Beem but i dont see there that anyone of us would have already created this. so it doesnt exist yet. someone gotta create it and we all gotta go click buttons to vote. Alternatively I will talk to printful directly, there is no reason why only printful itself would be able to make this perfectly. I could handle it all myself and i had plans for it
Added request here: https://www.printful.com/feature-request/30249/add-fluentcart-integration
Jeff Brigman I just voted for it
Jeff Brigman I voted for it too :)
Jeff Brigman I've added the link to the main post at the top. Hope fully it'll be easier to get votes istead of individual requests. I'll make a follow-up post next week.
Rasel Siddiqe Hi, thank you for the update... Why not make a bridge plugin that connects Fluentcart and the Woocommerce/Printful plugin. This would actually be very easy to do for code, and just make it show things connect, and talk to each other, with orders then being fulfilled back into the Fluentcart customer area. So then using fluentcart, order comes in, processess with the wc/pf plugin automatically, then when filled, updates shipping details from the wc/fc plugin into the fluentcart profile area.
Something new for FluentCart is coming soon.
I've been developing Printfluently, an independent WordPress plugin designed to connect FluentCart with Printful for print-on-demand stores.
It's now in final testing, including product syncing, automated fulfillment, live shipping, tracking, fulfillment controls, and order management — while keeping FluentCart as the storefront and checkout.
The first integration is Printful, with additional print-on-demand providers planned for the future.
I'm getting close to launch and would be interested to hear from other FluentCart users: Is print-on-demand integration something you would use with FluentCart?
Coming soon — Printfluently. Connect. Sync. Fulfill.

alex andreas Awesome! I was hoping someone would build this integration. Thank you!
