A free Trick-or-Treat bar for FluentCart
Halloween is close, and a FluentCart store can join in without a new checkout. Show shoppers how close they are to a treat, then unlock it when they reach the goal. The same idea works after Halloween: a spend amount, a number of items, or a product you want in the cart.
CartCubes Trick-or-Treat for FluentCartΒ is a free addon. It adds a bar to the cart drawer and to checkout. Before the goal, shoppers see how close they are. When they reach it, the message changes to the treat.
A few ways to use it:
- Halloween.Β Run it through 1 November, on the days you choose, with the illustrated banner or your own images.
- Spend goal.Β Show how much is left until a cart subtotal, such as $50, then offer a coupon you already created in FluentCart.
- Quantity goal.Β Ask for 2 items in the cart, then unlock the treat.
- Product goal.Β Pick one or more products, or a specific variation. The goal is met when any of them is in the cart.
- Any other date.Β Set a start and end date and time, limit it to weekdays, and show it to everyone, logged-in customers, or guests.
The treat can be a message only, or it can apply that FluentCart coupon for them. The code stays hidden until the goal is met, and shoppers can click it to copy it. If the cart drops below the goal, the coupon comes off.
The look can be the Halloween banner or a simple card that matches FluentCart. You can also place the bar on any page withΒ [cartcubes_trick_or_treat]. The shortcode shows the bar and never applies the coupon.
It is free. Details and screenshots:Β https://cartcubes.com/fluentcart/trick-or-treat/
Very cool. Thanks for building this!
F. C.Β Thanks, glad you like it.
A possible cool feature to add would be a product grid in the cart with free products a customer can choose when certain conditions are met. Spend at least 40 euros and you can pick a free product from a predefined selection of products, for example.
F. C.Β , that is a nice idea. A free-product grid in the cart, after a spend goal, would fit the bar well. I will look into it.
