100% discount on Subscription product
I want to ask something. If I make 100% discount coupon on digital subscription product, how it works? I have monthly and years subscription product, if someone apply discount, it works for whole chosen period variant but what happen if subscription expire? It will switch on paid model and customer will be charged automatically or subscription just expire without automatic renwal?
The monthly or yearly option determines how often the subscription renews; it does not mean the subscription automatically expires after that period.
If the 100% coupon is applied only to the initial purchase, the first billing period will be free. When the next monthly or yearly renewal is due, FluentCart will use the product’s regular subscription price and attempt to charge the customer automatically through the connected recurring-payment method.
If you enable Make this coupon recurring in the coupon settings, the discount will also apply to every future renewal. With a 100% recurring discount, the subscription can remain active and continue renewing at no cost until it is cancelled or reaches a configured billing limit.
