Wishlist:

  1. Ability to control access via tags inside FluentCRM. This way access can send sold via WooCommerce, SureCart or even ThriveCart. Ideally without needing WPFusion to control the tags.
  2. Ability to control access to Courses independently from Spaces/Groups. 1 tag for course access, different tag for access to the group. Sometimes it's helpful to sell the course alone. Then up-sell the community as a subscription product.

Are both or either of these possible?

The goal would be to avoid needing TutorLMS or LearnDash and WPFusion.

Number 1 will be super handy !

You can already do these all using FluentCRM Automation :)

Shahjahan Jewel, Awesome. Is there documentation on how to provide a user with access to course content without giving access to the Discussion/Space/Groups content?

  1. I see how I can control access to an entire community, that part is great
  2. I don't see how I can give access to course content separately from discussion content.

I currently use LearnDash, WPFusion, WooCommerce, CartFlows, Discourse + custom code to accomplish this (and it's not fun)

The missing piece that would allow me to replace a good amount of the plugins above is the ability to give a student access to course content (videos only, no discussion, no community) as 1 product and the discussion/community element as another product (while keeping things organzied)

I'm making a guess here but are you saying that I would currently need to add courses to 1 community then have a separate community for discussion?

If that's the required work-around, then I would still need a way to turn off discussions on a group by group basis.

Is there a way to accomplish what I'm looking for using the current features in FluentCRM and Fluent Community?

Shahjahan Jewel

Hac Media, Course related actions and triggers will be available in the next few days.

Shahjahan Jewel, the main feature I’m looking for is the ability to separate access to courses from the discussions to be able to sell those as two separate products. Is that something that can be included?
