Will there be an option to notify group members of new posts via email?
Mike Cameron Email Notification can be enabled/disabled by the admin for now. It would be nice to allow the user to configure notifications settings for this.
BTW: If you mention someone with the @ sign or instead of @username you type @ + everyone then you can force the notification.
Not Important, it does not notify via email for me. I have all the notifications set to on. I'll experiment more
Mike Cameron, so it might be the case where there is an issue with notifications or your smtp server.
Check if you mention any user on your WP instance if the email notification is being delivered to the mentioned user or not at all? Here if I mention you probably you will get the email notification (with some delay).
Not Important,thank you for the help. I'm using FluentSMTP all other notifications are delivered fine. No SMTP log of an email sent when user tagged nor when posting in a group. Ideally I'd like to notify group users of new posts. BBoss, Peepso and BPress allow users to choose that setting.
Mike Cameron, feel free to share your feature requests so the fTeam will consider them. I am just a regular user and a big fan of Fluent Community. Lets share our ideas so the plugin will be super awesome and useful.
btw: I have suggested to create alias for the Spaces name so the SpaceAlias could be used in mentions but I am not sure how/if this will be implemented so keeping fingers cressed
