Why are we STILL WAITING for the LTD Announcement?!?
Shahjahan Jewel I know you and your team are working hard to build and launch the best community on the market. However, it has been 25 days since you posted, “We are preparing an exclusive Lifetime License offer only for the beta users within this month.” October came and went and still nothing!
You posted multiple times on how you’re going to announce the Lifetime Deal (LTD) in a couple days. Those days come and go with no announcement. At this point you are like Lucy pulling away the football from Charlie Brown and it seems very disrespectful to those that are saving up or budgeting to buy FluentCommunuty. I personally already missed out on buying a sale product in October because I was waiting for the FluentCommunity deal.
Why would it take you this long to simply announce the price? It makes no sense. Instead of making useless sneak-peek videos (see my feedback here https://community.wpmanageninja.com/portal/post/launch-preparation-going-on?comment_id=4850), just say what the deal is going to be.
In your quest to wait and launch the Lifetime Deal at the same time you launch the production version of FluentCommunity for download, you have done your customers a disservice.
Tesla had people stand in line for hours to pay $1,000 USD to place a Pre-Launch Reservation on a vehicle before it was even announced what that vehicle was going to be or when it was going to be delivered or what all the features were going to be. That was the Model 3 launch. Tesla took customer’s money two and a half years before they built it and customers were willing to do it because Tesla had already created customer trust. Tesla would not be able to do that now because Elon Musk has lost the trust.
You have the customer trust and loyalty of this FluentCommunity. We’ve seen the bugs and how the sausage is getting made and we’re still here. I know I will get an amazing final production version when you push it out, so the bottom line is simple.
I don’t need flashy videos. I just need deal terms!

Gregory Storm, I can understand your frustration, and trust me I want to announce the price and start taking your money 🙈.
But I want to make sure, there is no serious bug or security issues in the first production version. We have multiple teams working in different sections, such as development, marketing materials, documentation, etc. So all are working simultaneously to make it ready for you.
We don't want to hear that. We are selling an incomplete product, and that's why we have not started selling yet.
Internal news: The deal will be available within this week.

Security verification should be completed without any rush so then we won't have any disaster on our production servers.
It is easy to ruin everything if suddenly fCommunities would be destroyed by some bad actor or factors etc.
BTW: like Tesla customers I can wait for the deal even if it takes additional 2 months.
Anyway.. I am happy on the fact how many ideas and improvements were requested and implemented in the last 2 months period so the product is more complete. There is still more to come but if the market and Beta testers are ready for this so let the party start..

Shahjahan Jewel Nothing in my post says to compromise quality or security. It says to announce the price. I don't see why you are merging the two. But it's your business to run how you see fit. Thanks for your response and update on the timeline.
Mat The Tesla customers, me included, paid for the deal first then waited.
The pre-sale strategy where you get paid before you start building or while you are still building is nothing new in SaaS.

ps. pre-sale here might be a little bit different case - we Beta testers did not pay it yet and "we can create this product" - also some of 1000 users here will buy it (I will for sure).
Mat On a separate note, I think you should get the LTD for free. The amount of feedback and notes you've given on FluentCommunity is amazing. So much so that I thought you were an employee of WP Manage Ninja.

Gregory Storm, Thanks! I can affort the license. I had some time so I could utilize it here and see how the team perform and how this community operates. Doing things for fun are priceless and it is a really good experiance althought I got some corpo background and I am coming from a little bit different than Wordpre$$ planet haha. For me many of you are legends - I do have a fun and lesson learnt with all kind of feedback from here..
Ditto... After being part of the testing for previous Fluent product launches including Boards, Support and CRM, Community will be made public when it's ready :-)
I'd much rather get my copy when all the release sub-tasks are marked complete on their Fluent boards.
James Maduk It's not about when I get my copy. It's about when I pay for my copy. I agree we should get the product when it's ready. That can be separate from when we pay.
