Best solution Built-in SEO & Structured Data for FluentCommunity

I saw Shahjahan Jewel post on Facebook and X (Twitter) about "integrate with SEO plugin" to create Sitemap. And I know FluentCommunity does not have SEO yet, Sitemap cannot be created yet and Post meta is not available, which is a disadvantage that FluentCommunity has not found a solution for.

👉Here is the solution that Cuong Thach a member of our HXN Tribe, proposed:

Why not create a dedicated sitemap just for FluentCommunity?
For example: /fluent-sitemap.xml

Here’s the core idea:

  • SEO is made up of many parts — the sitemap is just one of them. So, let’s focus on doing our part well, instead of overcomplicating things.
  • There's no need to integrate with existing SEO plugins or search for complex hooks.
  • What users really need is a Community-specific sitemap, not an “ultimate sitemap” for the entire site.

What the FluentCommunity Sitemap should do:

  • Automatically generate the sitemap.
  • Automatically exclude private and secret Spaces.
  • Include members, but only those who are verified, so we can safely include their bio info without encouraging spam.
  • Support special formatting for posts that include embedded YouTube videos — for proper indexing by search engines.

Once generated, the sitemap can simply be:

  • Submitted to Google Search Console
  • Referenced in the site’s robots.txt file

And you, what do you think? Leave your comment to help FluentCommunity find out which Solution is the best for SEO 😉

Shahjahan Jewel I don’t need a single sitemap for everything or integration with SEOPress, Yoast, or RankMath.

What I need is a dedicated sitemap for Google SEO, cache plugins, or any SaaS I use.

You’ve done a great job making the FluentCommunity plugin isolated and high-performance, with a smart “fake” UI that works with any theme.

So why not do the same for sitemaps? There’s no need to integrate with all those SEO plugins or WordPress core.

You can simply generate a standalone sitemap just for FluentCommunity. There’s no SEO advantage to having only one sitemap—multiple sitemaps are totally fine.

Community Sitemap requirements:

  • The sitemap should be generated automatically.
  • It must automatically exclude Private and Secret Spaces.
  • Only verified members should be included, to prevent spam.
  • It should support a special format for posts with embedded YouTube videos for better indexing.

Cuong Thach Totally agree, I think WP Engine sitemap https://wpengine.com/robots.txt also works as you said, right?

Hoang Hxn Anyway I tried to optimize the post but couldn't find it on community.wpmanageninja .com so it's not optimized for this 😜

Hoang Hxn

Nang Ha Now you can try searching this way: "Fluent Community" + "Your post keyword" 👉 For example, if you search: "Fluent Community" "make money" you will see my article😏

Hoang Hxn Thanks, I just learned this tip today.

We are going to have a dedicated sitemap in our next version. Here is the current implementation: https://community.wpmanageninja.com/portal/site-maps/index.xml
