What is https://i2.wp.com/ui-avatars.com/api and how do I remove it?
When inspecting my site (or this community here) it's now connecting to i2.wp.com. I want to remove any external connections where possible because of GDPR.
Could you please explain what this connection does and how can I remove it?

It's the default gravatar URL that WordPress uses internally. Many people have a gravatar profile, so it fetches the image of that person.
I will add a hook in the next version where you can disable the gravatar.

+Make sure you also dont use JetPack "WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth" - it might also linked to the Gravatar.
