We are almost there ⏰
We were supposed to release the pre-launch LTD this week. But it got a bit delayed for good! We hired a security consultant to review the full plugin before we launch. We hope to get the detailed review by tomorrow and then, after review and fix, we hope to release it early next week.
We are also adding some surprise features which will be available on the pre-launch!
My goal is to build the super fast and most intuitive community plugin for WordPress where your community users will get fast, responsive experiences.
Our team is also working on accessibility and is happy to let you know our current accessibility score (dev branch) is greater than circle.so!

We want to make sure we are shipping a secure, super-fast, and optimized plugin.
Please consider providing an SBOM for the software. many government agencies (globally), procurement teams, as well as cyber teams will not allow software to bu used unless the software provider also releases an SBOM for each version. This is very simple to do, and provides continuous / real time insights into any vulnerabilities. the argument against this is that it provides a roadmap to hacking the software...that is not valid. It provides continuous transparent insights into Risk related to LOV (License, Obsolescence, and vulnerabilities). Once produced, clients can ingest this into commercial or Opensource tools to scan the SBOM. when this is married to penetration testing (which I will do shortly) as wll as reviewing configuration issues...it makes a much safer ecosystem.

It's great to hear that you also care about the security aspects of the software. Will the document for submission to audits or authorities be included?
Peter Dr. Lippolt, it's more like an internal security check. We did an in-house check but wanted to do another review with a 3rd-party security consultant.

A couple of quick questions:
- I've read that you can disable LMS module and use your own LMS. So, I do have TutorLMS, will these more popular ones like Tutor, Lifter and LearnDash all be supported to be integrated into it like featuring content in the sidebar to access the course from the community tab?
- Your course creator, you mention on the website Gutenberg, no mention of Bricks. I hope we won't have to wait too long to be able to use Bricks to create course content or any other content that can be created custom within the platform. It's Gutenberg and Bricks that always need to be supported going forward.
- Will LMS have some important features like giving assignments (being able to accept project submissions like for example I teach Web Design, having them submit link to the website, files or stuff like that and then me reviewing and giving a grade and comments on the uploaded work will make the courses work much better as it's not just consuming course content but also doing action and getting feedback on your work), quizzes with question bank?
- Leaderboard, will we be able to define criteria for the points, like having multiple weights, for example a post is 1 point, a correct answer is more points etc.
- Threads where people ask questions in feeds, will there be an option like on stack overflow to vote for the best answer and then OP selecting the correct answer so when someone visits the thread looking for the best answer to be able to find it immediately sorted on top as first answer?
- Just real quick, it seems like if it will have some of these features done in more detail, it might be a viable replacement for Circle, of course not comparing directly a very powerful and popular SaaS, sort of leader in the space, to a WP plugin that is yet to come out with its initial version and self-hosted etc. But feature-wise, it looks to me it is pretty comparable. I am in Kevin Geary's Inner Circle group there, and there is currently nothing there that I would be missing here in FluentCommunity. All I see if you implement some of these features in more detail like LMS options, beyond just basics, adding more flexibility like creating courses with Bricks, best answer option etc, it might be even more worth than investing in Circle platform, given we pick premium fast hosting that can handle the load.

Henri Melger, this was reported some time ago and it looks like it is still not fixed. Instead of letter d for days we should see letter m for minutes - this issue is related to Mobile View for sure (for Desktop we see longer text than on Mobile ASAIR).

Really excited for the official release of the plug-in! Does anyone have an answer to my question?
When creating multiple courses, will we have the option in the WordPress dashboard to create separate communities for entirely different subjects? For example: for a web design course, having a community focused on design, and for a cooking course, a separate community dedicated solely to that topic.
Or for now, is it possible to host only one community per site?
One solution could be having a general community for all courses, with specific discussion areas unlocked for each course’s members. However, I see a potential issue here: users might feel lost if there are multiple courses with unrelated themes in the same space.
Thanks again for this tool—it seems very promising and might be the perfect solution for hosting our courses directly on our sites without necessarily needing an LMS.

Thibaut Tintillier, You can create Groups of spaces and courses. If the spaces and courses within that group are set to secret, the group will not appear in the sidebar unless someone is added to them.
