Video upload

I'm wondering if direct video uploading is on the roadmap. Most users aren't going to upload short videos to youtube to embed. They want to upload directly.

Mike Cameron do you want allow users to upload video files in to your media library (local or R3/S2)? If yes then it is not the best way to handle videos. You will run out of space and/or resources very fast) but maybe I am missing something for this case.

Mat ‎ , I get that space is a consideration. However, every other community platform I have ever used has allowed for video uploads. My community is not huge, and I have never had a space issue in five years of Peepso or BB iterations.

In these days a single human is not able to create a pencil if you know what I mean but when people meet in one place with the same goal a magic can happen.

Mike Cameron I agree with Mat ‎ but I understand that you want the ability of uploading videos.

The same way, I requested the ability of connecting my Google Drive as repository, but the answer I received is that "that's the worst idea".

Maybe you can add your request to the roadmap and people upvote it.

Even if yours is "the worst idea" too... lol
