I think this feature improves the user experience. When a comment or post is very long, a "Continue Reading" or "Read More" button should appear.
This would improve the user experience for very long texts.

This also happens when the text is large, and you want to tag someone...
The suggestion appears at the end. Not on top. And this, sometimes, makes difficult the usability.
