If you use a Wordpress security plugin, whitelist connection for FluentPlayer. You may need to do the same for VPS security.
Marek we use Autoptimize and FluentAuth, with Autoptimize we can 'Exclude scripts from Autoptimize', but this needs a url or js script id to add, is this what you mean?
Doug Dennison I use Wordfence and the link that was blocked appeared in Tools>Livetraffic section. It starts with: site.com/wp-json/fluent-community/v2/fluent-player/video-content/
Once I whitelisted it, the player started to work.
I suggest temporary disabling security plugins and check if it works. If not, there may be some server protection blocking it.
