Ultimate Fluent Bundle?
How about a super offer to your Fluent Community Founders? Offer the whole Fluent Suite in a yearly and Lifetime version at a discounted price. It would be a great way of saying thanks for helping to forge the way with you and the dev team. With this, Fluent would offer monthly, yearly, or One time payments.
We all love the idea of using one suite of plugins that play nice together than a mixture of plugins from different creators that clash. (as soon as the fluent suite is released, I'm dumping woo commerce, etc..)
WPMET.com did this and I jumped in and referred the products to fellow web consultants, 27 people purchased immediately!!!... (don't use their pricing model as it is too cheap 😀 )
shhhhh. don't tell them but I like Fluent Forms way better than Met Forms.
What say ye?
I think full LTD offer (excluding Subscription case here) for the fSuite = very bad idea from the Ninja business perspective. There needs to be MRR in place to cover all costs/expenses/profit otherwise the business will be closed soon and product wont be develop the next year (nobody works for free especially awesome +100 developers).
Big Tech companies dont offer LTDs which is smart move and everybody can benefit for that model in a long term. You want product support and development? You need to pay for it constantly.
In our businesses when we would offer "everything" in LTD then how would we make money then?
Its easy to think that someone else should offer LTD and this would be a good idea but without knowing numbers for that business its just a crazy idea.
I think that LTD can be good for couple early adopters and maybe testers/promoters under condition that they wont resell your product too much and make some business on a side .
When it comes to subscription model for the fSuite it could be a good idea but somehow we would need to guarantee that Ninjas wont make less money but more than now (way more). On the other side fSuite subscription would become more expensive that using some SaaS solutions etc.
Probably I could add more comment to the story (I am even not mentioning Product LifeCycle) but its a longer discussion than just giving some comment here.
ps. would we pay $299/year
/single license for the fSuite? What is the price we would and could pay for Annual Subscription for the fSuite (lets say 10 fProducts included)?
ps2. without knowing the mentioned company/deal/product its hard to say why they have LTD - lets hope their business and products are in s super condition and not at the end of a LifeCycle/development/support.
Mat I hear ya. it does seem that way but they are a young company. the ltd bundle would not be purchased by the person who has a single site. which are many of the users here. however, for those that have many sites would see the intrinsic value. a subscription fee would help defray the cost. The ninjas would have to come up with a pricing model that works for them. They produce quality products but the feed back they get from data sharing from those that buy the unlimited would be priceless hence automatic data sharing with the bundle....... Microsoft did this early on so did LinkedIn.
William Dickson I think any CFO could elaborate on that LTD topic not me.
Even ChatGPT could answer some questions related to LTD but I dont think its needed.
LTD in IT company means that the Product LifeTime will be very short and with limited support etc.
Good idea!
Mat you are right.
As an entrepreneur you can hire people who do "exactly" what you want ... eventually, or you can hire a company who does what you want and exactly what you want ... eventually. If you can't generate profit with what you do, you can't afford either way. Go back and look at what YOU do.
That said, I love a good deal, too. And a bundle would be a good deal, plus it would pave the way for one big harmonious plugin, instead of many.
I would love a LTD on a bundle, but I'm not sure it's the best idea for WPMN.
That said, would also love a bundle price for all of the available plug-ins that would be available annually. If it was in my budget, I would sign up even though I already have quite a few LTDs for individual ones.
Blaine Moore yes, trust me it works. while they are charging less, they are getting money and more knowledge in volume. they would only offer the bundle to their current customers allowing them to upgrade to the ultimate bundle. basically each plugin would have a discounted cost, the user would only pay the difference to get to the discounted price of those not limited. (for instance I already have FCRM in proform LTD, I would pay no cost to get pushed to the ultimate FCRM. If I they have an upgrade feature now that does this. each current user would get a discount code/coupon and the rest is done thru their upgrade button. again they would only offer it to their current customers (july 2026 and earlier) who have at least 2 or more pro products already. Shahjahan Jewel they would make money as many of us only have a few of the products in pro or LTD form. A lifetime bundle with a payment plan or one time cost would create great revenue. each payment plan (one time/12 mos/qtrly/24 mos) will have an additional cost added, i.e monthly would cost $100 more, qtry $75 more. New customers who purchase the bundle would pay the regular bundle price. WPsuperninjas generate instant income from those who were on the fence nickle and diming the plugins as needed, they will make more of use the pro versions along the way making more request for new features and discovering any errors as many of us are using different platforms, cms, plugins, themes, etc. WPsuperninjas will virtually make us their jr devs. we all just need to agree to share data with them. excuse my ugly chart... any new plugin can be added at a fee. (wpmet adds it for free--DONT DO That!!). I helped a company do this a year ago and their sales tripled. they charge a $150 yearly maintenance fee after purchase).
btw any LTD purchased before the bundle is a wash to the user. we get no money back!!!
Ltd makes sense if the cash flow is low and the company needs funding to continue development and invest in marketing. Considering WPMN is well established in the wp ecosystem, they many not have the urgency to bring the large cash volume immediately, and ltd likely does not make sense for them
Good idea
This is essentially two great questions in one… bundles, and LTD’s. they aren’t necessarily the same thing, but I have strong opinions about both, lol. hey, I’m old, it happens. I hope this thread goes viral. It’s the philosophical question for the ages…
One would assume that there is a price for everything. ie: Is your house for sale? You bet, but you probably can't afford it, lol. I don't rent software, unless I'm not convinced I need it, and with advances in ai vibe coding and ai integration platforms accessing api's WPMN should be thinking about gettin’ while the gettin's good. I am heavily invested in Fluent products, but they are the only "wp plug-in" that I am using on my site, because even as a non coder, I have been able to vibe code wp plugin’s for everything I needed. I own or rent 90% of the full WPMN suite already, and yes, I would give them the money for suite again to own it all. even with yearly maintenance fees in the model, because at that point, I at least can keep using it and upgrading is optional. If WPMN want’s to keep getting more money from me, they simply need to give me compelling reasons to upgrade the the new version, but at least provide regular maintenance for the version I own.
I used to pay for the main adobe suite, but when they moved to the rent software model, I stopped giving them money. I found other solutions to those problems and have never looked back. Would I love to buy photoshop and illustrator? yes, but I can live with affinity photo and affinity designer.
the rent software model works fine for large corporations and government entities with unlimited budgets for software, but not for small businesses. So who is WPMN's target customer? SMALL BUSINESS! If I were doing web dev for a huge company, I wouldn't be using these products at all. I would be hiring engineers to write my own code to do exactly what I need, without hoping that WPMN is going to provide the features that I think should have come with these plugin's in the first place.
Now if that sounds the least bit resentful of the almost $1000 I have paid WPMN this year, it isn’t. As mentioned above, with ai, my choices are getting better every day. I can ask ai to make me a website like this one (any website) with one prompt, and it’s 90% perfect.
Last thing I will say is I love WPMN products. They tend to work well, and not cause more problems than they fix, better than any other options I have found, but the main thing that sets them apart from any other software I have ever used in my 25+ years in “the industry” is that they listen to their customers and try to give us what we want. This is their super power!
It’s obvious what WPMN’s business model is: They needed a community, so they made it instead of buying or renting it. They needed affiliate, cart, etc. so they made it. Turns out, what they needed for their own consumption, could be sold to us. not a bad deal, especially when you look at the numbers… They have definitely had many, many million dollar launches.

Their products absolutely should be more integrated, like “one big beautiful plugin”
-
The LTD is the only way I will continue to invest. I don’t rent software. How many of WPMN’s customers came from competitors that only rent software?
-
They need to answer support questions from customers like me that have paid them almost $1000 this year, and I mean REALLY answer them. The last support ticket I had was 1 week of 10 robotic answers from different support staff until someone came in and told me that I used the wrong kind of quotes. that info was in the first question I asked, but it took way too long to get a good answer. (and a little embarrassing that I didn’t notice that either, but hey, neither did anyone else at WPMN support)

Now, launch Fcart and Faffiliate so I can give you more money, and give me a bundle and LTD, please? Keep making amazing products, and keep listening to your customers!
