Track user activity in community
I have FluentCRM and FluentCommunity.
With FluentCRM’s event tracking feature, I’m wondering if there’s an easy way to do event tracking to know what space and what posts the user has read?
It’d be cool to be able to go into a contact in FluentCRM and be able to see what are the posts that this user viewed and this could be used for automations where I can segment the contacts based on events to send tailored emails to them.
What does the community think? Is there a way to do this?
I think the idea is very good, but I'm not so sure how to represent something like that. In a community with a lot of activity, such an evaluation can quickly become confusing.
André Salier The way I think of it is that the key is for the platform to collect these data points. When it comes to actual uses, I could do something like, sending emails related to a specific space to users who have engaged (view or commented) on X number of posts in that space.
I saw that the developer docs has quite a few actions that could be used. Too bad I don’t know enough to use them. Happy to learn from someone to trial and error myself with FluentCRM event tracking.
