Topics: "Make members select a topic" Shows "(optional)"

I can clearly see that it doesn't show on this Community, but it says (optional) on mine. And if I leave the topic blank, it won't let me create a post because I have enabled "make members select a topic". How do remove "(optional)" when this is enabled? I have caching disabled on the site.

I have FluentCommunity ProVersion 2.0.0

The string can be changed, such as if mandatory,
'Choose at least 1 topic'.

Tawsif Ahmed RiyadΒ Where do I change the string?

Tawsif Ahmed RiyadΒ Do I have to now install loco translate to do this? Honestly, I don't know why I have to even do this. The whole (optional) text needs to just be removed because it is NOT optional when I required a topic to be selected.

Tawsif Ahmed RiyadΒ it's a bug for sure.

The console shows the topic_required_slugs: Array [] is empty, which it should not be. It should either have yes/no, or something to indicate such. So this needs to be fixed so it properly reflects if the topics are optional or required.

Just noticed this today myself but haven’t had time to dig into it yet.

I agree once you select it as required, it should change the wording from optional to required.

I will mess around with it later or tomorrow and find a temp fix and hopefully the dev team will correct it.

Kevin WatsonΒ Fixed on dev. Thanks for reporting!
