ThriveCart-FluentConnect Working?
HI folks, I keep hearing that no one has been able to make thrivecart work with fluentcommunity, by integrating it through fluentCRM and fluentconnect to bring the customer data through from thrivecart.
Please could anyone let me know if they have got it working? I am wanting to buy a lifetime on thrivecart specifically for the purpose of using it with fluentcommunity (due to thrivecart having the JV split revenue feature to share income between two creators).
Bothers me a bit that WPNInja support have told me its working but others are saying its not working in the public. Anyone??<3
We used to use ThriveCart (love it tbh!)
And the JV feature... is such a handy one.
Many users (me included :) ), make a feature request for having it included in FluentCart or Fluent Affiliate. So... hopefully, we can have it in the future (who knows!)
What I can say is that:
- Yes, fluentconnect works. At least, it used to work on our side.
The thing is that, if I am not wrong, it was missing some integrations with Upsells and so. Like... you were not able to tag on upsells and things like that!
And also, as you may be aware, ThriveCart has changed A LOT since they were acquired a couple of years ago.
Fortunately, they have also improved so much in the last months with all the Stripe Connect features.
But, I will prevent you of using something like connect. Not because it may not work. But because it may lack flexibility. And on this times, it is a must.
I'll go with options that allow you just to automate any tools.
It may be an "investment" if you do not have one, or you may be willing to make some work using for example N8N.
But definitely, it will give you flexibility today using ThriveCart, and tomorrow.
And connect, well. I think it may need an update. Because after the udapte of ThriveCart, more users are coming back to use it.

Jorge de los Reyes legend! shame about the upsells, but definitely saves my skin. I don't want to do courses but like doing the grunt work on the setup for those who do like teaching haha, so there's money here to be made in riding on the wave of solid influencers who have a following imho but who don't wan to do the tech side. I can also confirm to you (in case you may be just starting up with that), that the business model you are talking about it’s quite profitable.
I’ve been drafting contracts and working on launches for creators since 2017. And I can relate that co-productions are a great and usually overlooked strategy!
But I can also share, what a nightmare it can become when numbers are not Cristal clear. And with refunds, commissions of platforms, tax management and so, it could become a bit hard to deal with.
Content creators end up at each other’s throats -figuratively speaking…, though sometimes almost literally 😅
On my experience, even I love technical tools for JV, I think most platforms lack a good reporting system (hopefully we can have a good one on FluentCart or fluent affiliate): I guess so!
So if you want to avoid misunderstandings, go for it!
But leave the payment processing just for one account. And then, after the launches and so, confirm the payments.
Making a “scrow” is also an option for those that are reluctant on you getting the payments first (or viceversa).
That being said… I wish you lot of successes with that!
