the new messaging seems pretty broken here
I can't click a user name or message from their profile. I can't find a way to send a message to someone at all. I can see and send messages for past conversations but can't start a new conversation.

Cointacter I don't know what you're saying I tried clicking on your profile just now to send you a message and it doesn't work. Are you saying it works for you?
I see the issue now. I can no longer message you the old, intuitive way, by clicking on your name in a message. only way to message you is to click the messages widget on the bottom right, and find you in there. hopefully they will address this technical debt as the feature is rolled out. I am surprised to see this being tested live before working out these kind of bugs.
