The Future of FluentCommunity ๐
Hey Shahjahan Jewelย โ mark my words:
FluentCommunity is your billion-dollar product.
(Why? The future is about community-led growth.)
*If I were you**, I'd focus 80% on FluentCommunity and 20% on the rest of the plugins. ๐ซฃ
With that note, I hope the team works on the FCWP theme soon! (This has been the most challenging part of building with FluentCommunity, and I'm still trying to fix it. ๐)
Thanks in advance! ๐
Thanks, man. We are actually working on a super light-weight community theme.
Shahjahan Jewelย Awesome! Looking forward to it! ๐คฉ
PS: I appreciate how actively involved you are in the community. This was one of the reasons I found my trust and confidence in going with FC โ because I could see the founder behind it means business! Respect for you, man! ๐

The GSย I love being here in the community. I spend much less time on other social media apps.
Shahjahan Jewelย interesting, I guess that's true. I spend much more time here than any other social media too. I hope I can eventually create such a great community as you have.
Shahjahan Jewelย Any idea on timeline for release? Just wondering if I should use my own which still needs some tweaks or wait until yours is released. Thanks!
Shahjahan Jewelย hi Shahjahan Jewelย have you released said theme yet? I have been using fluentcommunity for about 2 months and I donโt think that the theme you mentioned has been implemented just yet. Am I wrong? Best!
Shahjahan Jewelย Thanks for saying this, I will stop searching for other solutions and just wait for the release. I have had so much headache looking for a solution that just fit in.
I'm so much happy now hearing this from you..
For me, its also the CRM, Forms and Cart products too, but they are secondary to the community, as that is the glue that holds all your other apps together
Scrap the boards thing
I second a community theme!
Doug Dennisonย For me fcrm is literally the glue and fcom is the magnet. I would like to see more focus on integrating the existing products, keeping all the promises they made when taking my money, and living on the roadmap for most requested features. Constantly making new things and never completing projects is something an ADHD person like me does, lol.
Jeffย I think that, once the Pipeline finally comes, that will be the cherry on top!
That way, we can actually use FCRM as a CRM for deal tracking of members, subscribers and clients.
Currently, even we have boards, it could become a bit difficult and counterintuitive
Doug Dennisonย I love the "boards thing" ๐ Just needs live time tracking, some refinements and I don't need something else for projects and tasks
Agree. The size of the community market is enough to feed Shahjahan Jewelย and some! It's huge. Traditional marketing and advertising is like selling ice to eskimos, a tough caper! The good news is I really don't think needs to be over complicated. With all due respect to "us" developers and community creators, simply just listen to the voice of community members - the end users. Give them an amazing UX and you will have developers and "us" eating out of your hand.
You are right, they should focus more on the community aspect, no matter the resources it will take them. Community is the future.
And take into account our suggestions for features. We are never asking for groundbreaking things. She sheer fact that we canโt format our texts (bold, italic and the likes) is still unbelievable to me.
What I donโt like the most is how bland the community looks. We all have the same boring theme (or lack thereof). Very little is customizable (only colours). Thatโs why I keep looking for other solutions to be fair (but everything else is madly expensive).
I understand that itโs a fairly new platform, so a lot more is to come. But we donโt have any idea of what they are working on (no updated roadmap) and so we donโt know what to expect next. Thatโs what bothers me the most. Itโs a product thatโs still in the making, but I personally want to know what to expect from it for the next few months, to know what directions I should take for my community.
So I second the fact that they should focus the most on the community. But I donโt think they will change the way they work because I would imagine that they have a team made for each product.
Anne-Sophie Wย We can format text! Anything that can be done in markdown format or HTML should work.
The native formatter is pretty limited. I usually use a .md editor then copy paste to get more control of text formatting.
Jeff Mapesย there is a floating small toolbar that appears on the PC but not on the phone, and we can only do the three things youโve shown here. I gave bold and italic as examples to explain what I meant by "formatting", but what Iโm after is a fixed toolbar with more options. See what I mean?
Anne-Sophie Wย totally agree.
