The community plugin looks to provide many advantages, once the product can move to commercialization of version 1.0. Now, I do not expect to use Fluent Community for LMS at all...I will remain using Memberpress. But, the ability to provide a community to exchange ideas, provide a bio, ping other members will allow for collaboration between members. my questions ( I cannot find any help information yet) is:
- can i make the community members by invitation only. Individuals and companies an request membership..but all members require approval prior to being able to post, review, see, engage...period.
- Can the spaces be made both visible by all members and others private (so that others do not even know they exist...except the admin). This will allow teams to come together and keep their information private
- Will there be the ability to integrate with FluentBoards so that a space may be for a project (not all spaces) and the team members of that space can interactively work with that spaces FliuentBoards projects?
- How difficult will it be to migrate the members and data to a new website, if I need to seperate this into a sperate domain.
- If Fluent sells it company to another firm, will code be posted or put into escrow so that licensed holders are not left to hang.
- Does Fliuent offer an SBOM for their products so that companies using the code can review the security of the product (not the code) to determine of any dangerous libraries come into being (as what occured with Log4J and others)
- any ideas on target pricing per domain (annual and lifetime)
- Where can i find the documentation
Anyway...great job...looks very intriguing!
