Spam alert inside my community
My members are constantly complaining because they cannot easily unsubscribe from the messages they get like weekly digest or the one where admin put a checkbox during posting.
I double checked it myself and the issue is not that it’s impossible but that unengsged members need to login before they can change settings in their accounts. It’s not directly possible for info that from an email. And once you hit the manage subscription link at the end of the email, it brings you to your profile with the preference at the bottom. People are not „smart“ enough to do all these steps. Most people forget their logins and then just hit the spam button.
Can you do a UX update for that? Our inboxing is tanking like crazy because of that. Probably most people won’t notice until they have couple thousand of people, but we have and it’s an important issue to being fixed. Thanks team 🫶🏻
On the Privacy Settings, you may enable the "Automatically login the user" feature so users will be automatically logged in securely when they click the link and update their email preference.
I got that on. Users should be able to do it from their emails directly though
