Some thoughts on search functionality

I have some thoughts and mabye #featurerequest on the search.
Currently it feels pretty limited and as user I feel out of control.

1. It would be nice to allow 'on/off' add a search bar on the top of a specific community underneath the header-image. This would then only search in this specific community.
2. I would like it if the normal search has some filters: search in topics from last X months, search in specific community, search for specific terms in a specific topic, based on topic starter etc. Pretty basic search stuff for communities like Circle, Discourse, NodeBB etc.
3. Would be nice if we can tag along from normal WP search plugins or others like Algolia into the Fluentcommunity database. So we can offer total search solution to our visitors where they can search through the normal content and the community at one spot.
4. Allow saving of most used search filters.
